Facts About Water Dragons -Besides being excellent and lifelong companions, (if properly maintained) there are many interesting facts about Water Dragons. -Water Dragons are sometimes known as the "mini Iguana," due to their similar looks and are both listed under the large lizard family. -Female Water Dragons are capable of producing eggs, whether they have calpulated with a male or not. -Water Dragons have very "unique" tail uses. They use them for balance, leverage when climbing, whipping, and can even drop (literally, "drop") them when frightened or mishandled. -Another interesting "body matter" fact is the way Water Dragons use their front and back legs. The front legs are used -Water Dragons are fast runners, and can even run bipedally. -There is a very round and shiny spot (1-2 mm) on the top of a dragons' head, between the eyes. That spot is called the "parietal eye." It senses different shades of light.
