We are an affiliate of the National Nursing Staff Development Organization (NNSDO) and support its mission. |

| CVNSDO Purpose & Objectives: |
| 1. To support the specialty practice of staff development for the enhancement of quality health outcomes. 2. To provide for the sharing of educational information and resources. 3. To encourage communication throughout the local, state and national areas. 4. To act as a resource network to encourage and assist members in continuous development, improvement, and practice of education in health care settings. 5. To provide and promote continuing education focused on staff development of nurses and/or the promotion of quality patient and organizational outcomes. 6. To act as a resource for other health care professionals and organizations on staff development issues. 7. To provide a forum for networking and mentoring. |
| MEMBERSHIP |
| Active membership in CVNSDO is available to those persons whose primary responsibilities are for the staff development and education of nurses and other healthcare workers. Associate membership in CVNSDO is available to those who are interested in the education and professional development of nurses and healthcare workers.
