National Museum ,Katmandu & Katmandu Durbar Square

NATIONAL MUSEUM, KATMANDU (22 Feb. 2001)

The museum has splendid collections of weapons artifacts from ancient ,medieval and Modern Nepal. The oil paintings of all the famous Kings and other great personalities ,who shaped the modern  Nepal are a special treat to our eyes. Apart from the paintings, the museum is divided into various categories .Each category containing wood, metal , stone  and other works from each time of the history of this country! Due to time limit we could only take a glimpse of this big museum.

KATMANDU DURBAR SQUARE  (22 Feb. 2001)

Here is another place of beautiful architecture ! Thee whole center is surrounded with big and beautiful architectural marvels. There is a  Temple in the middle. We did have a darsan of this god on the last day of our stay in Nepal!

This was the last day in Nepal , and our moods were low with thoughts of leaving the place.But yes, we all feel like we will return to this land once more in our life!
