Wow~! Look at this~~! I'm a cat with a mask over there.. See the basket I have?? I guess..maybe at the end of the day, I'll have my basket full of sweet candies and cookies. Here in Korea, Halloween isn't that big a day, but when I lived in Sweden, kids really waited for this day. The girl who decorated her face with a big rosy flower and her body with a green dress was one of my best friends..we keep in contact each other.. The tiger beside me is my brother and the ghost on the other side is a Japanese boy..^^ |

The first picture at the top of the page, was the one taken when I was in Montesori kindergarten, and this one was taken when I was in the third grade in Rodaberg Skolan. I'm the garbage monster on the left side^^My mom and I made the mask~ Isn't the girl beside me cute?? She's Minnie Mouse~^^ Actually, this day you can see all kinds of different animation characters and also many strange masks and clothes you can never imagine. We scare eachother..^^ It's a really wonderful memory.... |

Have you ever heard of Santa Lucia?? Christmas Eve in Sweden is a very holy day.. The small children dress in white clothes and have a small party. We bake cookies and cakes for this day.. And one thing more..after this..when it is closed to midnight, we change our clothes and wait for Santa Claus. He brings a big bunch of presents^^ That's me eating a cookie at the Christmas Eve party. That's the dress we wear.. |

And here's me and my brother.. Girls usually have those candle lights on their heads and also hold lights in their hands. Boys wear hats..with stars in their hands. We all made those items in our kindergarten. That's why children become busy as Christmas comes closer..but they really enjoy and wait for this day.. Santa Claus is coming~!!^^ |

This is the party time on the Christmas Eve time.. We believed that when we sang in front of people who came to our party we prepared for (for example, families and other friends), Santa Claus would come^^ Isn't it cute?? When I came back to Korea, I was on 4th grade elementary student, but until that time I believed that there was a Santa Claus. Maybe you think that it's stupid, but it's natural in Sweden..the parents, teachers and adults never hurt the childrens imaginations.. they always have small and beautiful events for the kids..^^ Children are pure and simple... |
