Custer's 2000 Captains [Back To Football] George Ewing, Alvin Wilson and CJ Davis are the Captains for the Custer Cougars. For Coach Zmudzinski, choosing these three was not difficult. All show the needed leadership qualities and are respect by most to the team members. Alvin Wilson, a Running Back, is one of this years' key players. Already getting the most yards of the team this year, thus far, Alvin will likely have the top yard on the team the whole season. Unless his ankle problems kick-in. position on the team. The Coaches have decided who their new Fullback is for the season. CJ is
also the only Junior Captain on the team. George Ewing, a starter on the Cougars special teams, has made some excellent tackles this season, keeping Kick-Return ball carriers in thier place. If George is chasing you, you'd better run harder, because this former lineman is fast! For the fourth spot on the Captain's Roster this spot is filled by the coaches' "pick of the week" in terms of abilitiy and execution. This person gets to go with the rest of the captains to the Coin Toss of that weeks' game and helps out with the warm-up calls.
