Abolitionist
Literature on the Web (5 pages)
Short bibliography of important pre-Civil War abolitionist literature
on the web.
The pro-gay and feminist activist claim that the Bible condoned
American Slavery is a false argument. What is true is that many clergy
(including Episcopal priests and bishops) were false teachers who misused
the Bible in arguing for slavery.
The pro-gay and feminist activists overlook the whole counsel of Holy
Scripture, and omits mention of the abolitionist use of the Bible.

Agreement
of the Easter Account in the Four Gospels
This is a rebuttal to the claim that the Gospels do not agree on what
happened after the stone was rolled away. In this report, I constructed a
table that places all passages of the four Gospels in parallel, in one
proposed time line that is not inconsistent. I based this upon the Revised
Standard Version. I conclude that the Scriptures give a reliable witness
of the events between the Resurrection and the Ascension.

Flavius Josephus on Jewish Sexual Ethics
, notes from The Complete Works of Flavius Josephus.
This remark by Josephus explains Jewish teaching about sexual relations current about the time of Jesus.
This was written about 93 A.D. or 94 A.D. He tells about Sodom. He explains that sex is permitted only
between a man and his wife. Josephus explains that Jewish law prohibits homosexual sex and abortion, and enjoins
us to bring up all of our offspring. He criticizes Persian and Greek sexual ethics.
