William Ellis Rambo and Susie Jane

William "Bill" Ellis Rambo  the son of James G. Rambo and Della Mitchell Rambo was  b.  August 3, 1896  in Ms.  and died  Dec. 7, 1972 in Michigan.  He married Susie Jane Beaugan who was  born August 4, 1901 and died August 17, 1972.

They had two children.  

1. Mildred  who was born Aug 4, 1921 and died Oct. 18, 1976 in Michigan. Mildred married  Phillip Dohm (B: 1919 D: 1983).  

2. Their son was James Harvey Rambo who was born Feb 18, 1929 and died Feb 3, 1983 (from cancer). He married Lonia M. Berg. He was a sergeant in the Michigan State Police, based in Sault Saint Marie, MI  James and Lonia had eight children. 

Bill died from a fire in his home. Investigation report said that the fire had started from a heating pad that was left turned on (must have over heated)  in his bed. He was found in a chair in his living room and they felt that he was dead before the fire reached him. 

After the death of Katie Rambo the  two children of Katie and Levy Criddle, James Aaron and Maxine,  lived with Aunt Sue and Uncle Bill until their early teens. Then they both went south to live with John William Criddle and Sallie Franks Criddle who were the parents of Levy Criddle; therefore, their grandparents.  Maxine stayed in the south and James Aaron came to live with Henry Rambo  for about a year when he was 15 and 16, before he joined the Navy.
