Note: After Robert's death she was pressured by the Stepp family to marry or give the children up to a foster home (she
was supporting the kids on the street), so she married John Lindsey (step-dad)- alcoholic/ smoker/ always finding ways to make a buck/ Loan Sharking/ owned fish store (Died: 1990-cancer).

After marrying John Linsey they spent most of time in Arkansas. They lived in Hot Springs, Helena & West Helena (owned a Fish Store there).
After John died her health started failing and she moved up to Batesville and lived with her son Otis Stepp (in a home rented from her other son James (Tony) Stepp. She had successive strokes and eventually was placed in a nursing home at Fairfield Bay, Arkansas where she died at the age of 92.
