Accomplishments and Activities Report (1st Semester,
A.Y. 2003-2004)
In
June, the Computer Studies Student Council has provided
window blinds for every
Computer Studies classroom. By that way, too much
solar light had been minimized, thus making the rooms
conducive for using projectors during class discussions
and reports. CSSC also provided an additional wooden
bulletin board with protective glass cover,
for more presentable announcements board. Vandalism
was eliminated.
Junior
Philippine Computer Society – UPHL Chapter
was “rejuvenated” in the month of July.
CSSC has renewed its membership in the National Executive
Board. From July to late August, JPCS-UPHL has acquired
84 initial members. The 84 are those who passed in
the screening interviews.
Also
in the month of July, the Multimedia
and Research Center (M&RC) was renovated.
Its flooring and lighting was modified. Right after
the renovation, the M&RC was opened to Computer
Studies students for online/offline research,
program coding, project documentation,
and printing. M&RC is also for Audio-Visual
presentation, a venue for Thesis and Baby
Thesis defense, and many more.
