You can join us easily; however, it cannot be stressed enough that you should take some time reading first, to learn about where it is that your character is, and what rules are in place. On occasion, eager newbies have joined us, but simply reprised a character they might play in 3 or 4 other games.

It's not always a good fit.

A character also needs to be understood before it can be played properly; seeing someone play a mermaid on Crystal Shores, who 'all of a sudden' could generate legs 'whenever she felt like' might've been fun had it been part of a Quest or trick of Magics; however, this player was serious. She blew threw the Character Generator, picking what she thought she wanted, without having taken the time to find out what she was choosing.

That's like raising your hand to volunteer, when you don't have the slightest idea what you're volunteering -for-.

You need not register for general roleplay, but will if you want your character to be part of daily Achethian life, recognizable and known.

Choose Room #AchetheRPG you will find the IC Discussion Boards and Messages there, or #Achethe_OOC in case you wish to step out of your character for general chat, as well as a links to the Achethe website.

The board and its categories are self-explanatory and well-labeled. Please follow the directions accordingly and post where appropriate if you're so-inclined.
