On this Day...Back in 1941...
A Battle by Japan Began...But it was for us...
that the war was won...

Many died...Many wounded...
It is their lives...Our memories are linked to...

They fell on American Ground...
They fell, and many made no sound...

For some of them were unaware...
Of the Battle 'til the War began...

Called to arms...These many brave souls...
Stood their Ground...While some took the fall...

Though they are gone...They are not forgotten...
Those brave souls...That fell in 1941...
