After a few years of trying to find th eright combination of musicians, the Jeremies found themselves going outside of the realm of local musicians to complete the lineup. crushreality, as they are today, began perorming in 2000 with the addition of New York city native Rob Sage on bass, and Maine born-and-bred Mike Sevon on drums. This lineup now continues to minipulate the beauty of sound to create a world that is theirs alone. Moving from the soundscapes of synthesizers, to blistering guitars, to the emotional beauty of the twelve string acoustic, crushreality blends their drfiving sound to create recordings and live shows wich leave listerns feeling a sickness of emotions.
In addition to headlining shows at venues all over the Western U. S. the boys have opened for such legends as Daniel Ash, Stabbing Westward, Frnak Black, and Gene Loves Jezebel. crushreality has recorded two EPs in the past two years, garnering airplay from such stations as KUCI (Irvine, CA) KFSR (Fresno, CA), and Titaninternetradio.com (Fullerton, CA). Their songs "Turning Blue" and "Collide" have reached #1 on Artistlaunch.com and frequently appear in the top 100 of Orange County songs on Mp3.com. Favorable articles and reviews of crushreality's EP and live shows have appeared in Live Magazine and GodsofMusic.com. They are currently working on their first full-length CD with a planned release in the fall of 2002
