About the Directors!
|

Sarah Cook (Artistic Director) has been
teaching in the Chicagoland area for approximately 14 years. She is the
former Founder and Artistic Director of Footprints Tap Ensemble, one of the
most highly acclaimed youth ensembles in the nation.
Sarah has performed as a soloist alongside Gregory Hines, Savion Glover, Mike
Minery and many more. Her choreography has been featured on Broadway, at Walt Disney World,
in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, in Dance Chicago, and the Chicago Human
Rhythm Project. Sarah also choreographs and teaches for national workshops
and productions.
Sarah’s hope is to expose tappers in Crunch! to the world of dance outside the dance
studio, and to give them the opportunity to accomplish something great in
the dance world. |

Camille Malecha (Assistant Director) has danced for 8 years, and was formerly an understudy for
Footprints II in Libertyville. She has danced with Mark Yonally, Brenna
Kuhn, Patrick Kendall, Katie Budris, Kari Guziec and Sarah Cook, and
she comes all the way from Libertyville to dance with Crunch. Camille also
studies hip hop, plays soccer, is in church choir and bell choir, and performs
with Encore, a youth musical theater company. |
