About Crunch!Crunch! Productions of McDonald Dance Academy in Arlington Heights just began its first season in July of 2001. The 12 new members range in age from 10 to 17, and are residents of Arlington Heights, Libertyville, Mount Prospect, and Prospect Heights. The company has performed at the Willowbrook Ballroom, where they premiered "Let's Get Loud" for the "End of Summer Swing" Celebration in September. Their first full-length concert, Cracker Jack, will be held on December 17, 2001. Dancers will be joined by six guest artists, including Mark Yonally, Brenna Kuhn, Patrick Kendall, Kari Guziec, Katie Budris, and Crunch's Artistic Director, Sarah Cook. Dancers spend one hour a week rehearsing and one hour working on technique. Auditions for new members will be held in the spring of 2002. |
