Sarah Cook
- Though Sarah has performed with tap’s greatest, including Gregory Hines and Savion
Glover, her greatest love is mentoring young dancers as they discover their gifts.
Her dancers have performed at Disney World, on Broadway, and more! Sarah also
founded Ekklesia Arts International, an international network of Christians
dedicated to excellence in the arts. She works full-time at Siemens in Buffalo
Grove and teaches at various studios in the Chicago area. Recently, Sarah
completed a national tour with Dance Revolution, a cutting-edge Christian dance
convention.
Camille Malecha -
Formerly an understudy for Footprints II, Camille comes all the way from Libertyville to
dance with Crunch. In addition to tap, she studies hip hop, and she attends Highland Middle School where her favorite
subjects are Literature and the Arts. Sarah Cook is her favorite dancer, and she wants to give her a huge thanks for making Crunch lots of fun!
Kelsie Silton -
As a dancer for nine years, Kelsie has been a part of Footprints Tap Ensemble in
addition to dancing with Crunch. She studies ballet, jazz and hip hop and performed her first ballet dance in
kindergarten. Kelsie attends Highland Middle School in Libertyville where she enjoys studying literature and the
arts. Her favorite dancers are Tressa Thomas, Dianne Walker and Sarah Cook. She sends a special thanks to Mom and Dad for their support and to the
“Crunchies” for all of their hard work.
Brittany Thompson -
One of the youngest members of Crunch, Brittany continues to study both ballet and
jazz and performs in the chorus ensemble at Dryden Elementary School in
Arlington Heights. Her favorite
subjects are math and social science, and she hopes to be a Math teacher or a
Marine biologist. Brittany is excited
to be a member of Crunch and is glad her friends and family are coming to see
this super show.
Kelsey Wermager -
In addition to being a “Crunchie”, Kelsey has also been a member of the Joffrey Ballet Chicago
and has performed various solos for talent shows and benefit performances. She studies ballet, jazz, modern dance and
musical theater, in addition to tap. Kelsey attends South Middle School in Arlington Heights where math is
her favorite subject, yet in her heart she wants to pursue dancing professionally in the future.
Her favorite dancers are Sarah Cook and Savion Glover.
She sends a special thanks to her friends and family for all
their incredible support.
