A fight to revolutionalize the world! Who wins you ask? A girl named Utena. She was a young princess that was alone ever since her parents died in a car crash. Though she didnt remember much of her past, Utena remembers only that a prince on a white horse came to her saying: "Little one..Growing up alone is such great sorrow. Never lose your nobility even when you are grown". Then he presented her a ring with a rose seal on it. She thought it was an engagement ring. All she remember about was that he said "this ring will lead you to me". And eventually it did. She ended up going to an academy full of a bunch of duelists.
Each duelists had the same ring as Utena! And so she also became a duelist and possessed the rose bride with a winning strike. They believed that Dios helped her and that he was End-of-the-world. The duels took place in an arena. The one who won over all duelists was to become prince of the rose bride. The rose bride, Anthy Himemia, was the sister of Dios who was not able to have a Prince herself because she was the sister of dios.
Therefore, instead of the prince being able to save the rest of the young princesses, Anthy kept him from saving them! That is why the won who won all duels were to become the Prince for Anthy. Unfortunately the winner was a girl and so everything was different. In the end, everything was destined to repeat itself.
