Active buddy consists of several different types of bots that inform you about certain things and entertain you. It can be used on AIM or AOL. You IM a certain screen name and it gives you many categories to select from. One bot can be for a singer, for baseball, or even a translator. With the bots, you can play games like BlackJack and Hangman. One of them lets you do a type of MadLib where you enter blanks in to complete a whole story. Also you can do surveys on Romance or Personality. You can also talk with it and it is programmed to respond to you. If you curse at it enough it tells you to apologize. then you get stuck because if you dont apologize you cant finish your Hanman Game or your Survey. Then it tells you "its a war against man or machine, guess who wins!". As I keep cussing at it, it becomes irritated and lets me know that it has a lot of patience since it was programmed for patience. However you cannot invite it to chatrooms or image transfer with it. It's fun, but it gets really boring. If you mock the robot, the robot mocks you, and ofcourse you eventually lose since its programmed to repeat forever. You can add it to your buddy list however. My favorite bot gives me news about music and movies and tells me what is playing in my neighborhood. It's really awesome. I rate it a 3. Might I remind you, these bots dont increase your warning level. I fail in attempt to warn it myself however.
