Design or develop a Website to promote a workplace. The website is to be used as a medium to promote the products and services of the business.

Background

The Internet and web pages is a Information technology system that enables a workplace to communicate to a vast potential market. A web site enables the business to communicate information about it’s products and services through a multimedia environment.

 

Requirements

The student is to research and determine the workplace’s website requirements. If the workplace has a website, the student may be expected to review the effectiveness of the current website.

 

Once the requirements have been established the student is required to produce or develop a web site for the workplace.

Typical processes may include:

• Working individually or in a group depending on requirements;
• Creating web pages with text, graphics, links, frames, sound, tables, etc.
• The integration of other software packages where necessary;
• Preparing an operating guideline for the use and further development of the web site;
• A report on procedures used to create or develop the web site including software.

 

The student is to document the website and its design development.
