Preservation Efforts for Fort Lauderdale

This page captures some suggestions for making the future more interesting and full of our history.  Some points to start with:

1.  An old building is not by itself historic. It's just an old building.

2.  History doesn't start at 50.  Start now to identify historic buildings. don't wait until the building is 50 years old.  Give property owners ample time to realize that some people want to preserve landmarks and historic buildings.  The time to start preserving the bus station at Broward Blvd west of Andrews (at the terminal) is now, not 30 years from now.
