Bearded Dragon's are very active and captivating reptiles. Have you ever noticed the way they look at you? It's sort of a cheeky look if you ask me like a pose as if to say ha I am the best. The thing I like the most though the fact that they are a very active reptile wether around humans or not they are not like lets say a Blue Tongue lizard which just sits there all day under the basking lamp. Bearded's actualy have some life.
Bearded's love climbing. It is a natural part of life for them, they will climb a log or a rock and wait paciently for an unknowing food source to come by then pounce. They are very hardy reptiles beacause of there natural habitat. They can adapt to basicaly any food source and have extra large stomachs to preserve food in during times of drout. Although they also have a tendency to get over weight in caprivity, so watch the food factor ok. As you can see the Bearded Dragon has many interesting charactaristics thus the basis of its appeal and the reason why it is the most common reptile found in captivity. |
