The Disappointment of the Harry Potter Movies
By Devin

I hate the Harry Potter movies! Now don't get me wrong, I love the books. I'm one of their biggest fans, but he movies just...suck. The first movie didn't suck that bad. Originally, the first book wasn't my favorite anyway. The second book was my favorite, and the movie just screwed it up. This is what it lacked:
<>Key scenes they cut out to save time and money.
<>Key lines like Tom Riddle's sinister taunting at the end. They cut out all the best ones and in the movie, Tom Riddle barely moved at all! He just stood there and looked like a wimp the whole time!
<>Harry sucked at melee. I mean, he missed 80% of the time!
<>The snake never snapped at Harry. It always tried to body-slam him.
<>It lacked the tingle of fear you felt while reading the book.
<>It lacked the feeling of true hatred between Harry and everyone else when they thought he was attacking people, and their dawning comprehension after Hermione was attacked.
<>This is the big one. IT LACKS AMERICAN ACTORS. The director thinks that having an all British cast will keep 'the magic' of the film. SCREW HIM. THERE ARE SOME GREAT U.S. ACTORS THAT COULD IMITATE A BRITISH ACCENT. I MEAN, COME ON. One that I really recommend is Johnny Depp. He is awesome...OH YEAH, and I recommend the dude that played Legolas in Lord of the Rings. What was his name....Ted, help me out, I don't remember...I bet you noticed that they both were in Pirates of the Caribbean and faked a British accent so THERE! I PROVED IT TO YOU!
