The Pattern from Muslin and the Jacket of the Same

So I pretty much just did the jacket in the last week, except for the details. What I mean is, I took the time to actually construct the jacket as a base model without all the lovely accessories and stripes. But just for completion purposes, here are some shots of work in progress.

Here's the muslin pattern all assembled and fitted to me. Wasn't that simple? Look at the "Laying and Cutting the Leather" link at the left of the page for a view of almost all the muslin pieces, disassembled, of course.

Here's the back of the same pattern (duh). I decided to make it look professional (on the outside, at least) and make a yoke for the back (the thing going between the shoulderblades for support when stretching, in case you didn't know).

Not sure if you can read it, but those are my notes on the fabric pieces, with 5/8" seam allowance. Each piece is labeled individually, corresponding to where it goes and what it's attached to.

After I tried this on, made some seam adjustments, and ripped the seams all out again, I placed the muslin pattern onto the leather for sizing and cutting.
