It didn't take me long to figure out where to place the muslin, it just seemed to flow onto the hide naturally. Observe:

The only thing i needed to cut two of that there's only one muslin for is the smallest piece in the picture, and the piece at the bottom right (the collar). Those two pattern pieces would get two copies from the leather and sewn together making double-leather pieces, since I don't need a lined collar, and the support for the collar (the smallest piece) is always double-leather. Not to be confusing, of course. ^_^

I used a dry-erase marker to trace the muslin pattern. Cheap, yes, but I've already spent so much... Anyway, if Imake any mistakes, I can wipe it off within half a minute (so I found out), but it's completely permanent after a minute or two. This is part of a sleeve (presumably the left, I think).

Okay, so here's the full left sleeve (I've confirmed) drawn out on the leather. A front panel is to the bottom of the picture, and awaiting its tracing.

After I traced each piece, I cut it. Dunno if I should've done it any other way, but that's my way. >:D Anywho, I traced and cut out all the pieces and draped them across my chair until a few days after Christmas. Then I got to work...
