Craig was born in Durban on the East coast of South Africa. He completed his primary, secondary and tertiary education in Durban and moved to Johannesburg in 1991 for employment.
Craig returned to
Durban in the Summer
of 2002/2003.
Since nine years
old he often created rhyming “pieces” for games or singing, but only started
capturing the poetry from age of eleven years.
He started collecting his poetry during his final school year, but lost
almost half of the collection a few years later.
He plays various music instruments and enjoys singing.
Craig also enjoys writing and singing.
Craig believes
that
"You measure wealth by how many
friends you can bank on,
Not by how much money you have in the
bank."
Craig has a Master of Science degree. His research dissertation was titled “An
Investigation Into IT As Enabler And Driver Of Customer Focused Strategies: A
Framework for Implementing a Customer Focused Information System”.
His areas of work have included general management, professional services management, project management and
business analysis in the disciplines of:
BI (Business
Intelligence and data-warehousing),
CRM (Customer
Relationship Management), and
BPR (Business
Process Reengineering).
Within the Information Management arena, he is a
strong advocate of IS strategies that are driven by and aligned to the
organizational goals. His skills
include JAD/JRP facilitation, business analysis where he employs the “Total
Systems” and multi-methodology approaches.
Self-motivated when placed in a challenging situation,
he can motivate teams (volunteer and remunerated) for award-winning performance
and has the basic technical knowledge and skills to bring it all together for
optimal results.
His strong analytical skills, coupled with creativity
and entrepreneurship enables him to order situations of chaos and
complexity. Interpersonal skills and
the ability to listen, ensures that communication is always effective.
His international experience spans the USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, South East Asia and Southern and West Africa.
