EVENT CANCELLED

Due to low registration numbers this event has been cancelled.  It is our sincere hope that the event can be attempted again in the future but the realities of low registration numbers have forced us to make a call at this point in time and return money to those few who have sent it in.  Please contact Paul Calloway, Mark Holbrook or Beth Crabb for more information.

Crabill House; August 2-4 REGISTRATION OPEN

Gentlemen & Ladies-
We are now ready to accept applicants for the Crabill House/105th Ohio muster in, August 2-4, 2002 at Springfield,
Ohio - near Dayton, Ohio. This is a limited enrollment, we plan to accept NO more than 200 military applicants.
This will be a complete immersive experience based upon the August 1862 Mustering in of the 105th Ohio. We hope
to have the full participation of the best civilians in the hobby in order to see us off to the seat of the war.
Ideally we will field TWO full sized, 100 man companies. You will drill nearly all weekend long, in various formations -
squads, sections, platoons, companies and battalion.
There will be a parade, period entertainment, a picnic with the Civilians and much, much more.

(Disclaimer - This is not to be confused by the Living History held in June by the 49th Ohio.)

Military Applicants should email Paul Calloway at [email protected] and include your name,
unit affiliation (if any) and a description of your impression(s). There will be no Confederate portrayals at all at this
event.

Civilian Registration will be done through Beth Crabb. You may reach her by email at
[email protected]

Registration As detailed above, military applicants will need to contact Paul Calloway and Civilian applicants to contact
Beth Crabb.

Registration is set at $25.00 per applicant to cover the anticipated costs of rations, food, music and other items of
necessity. This may seem expensive to some, but this is a totally immersive event with no spectator support.

Only after you've gotten approval from Paul Calloway or Beth Crabb should you send your check or money order
payable to:
Mark Holbrook
699 S Roys Avenue
Columbus, Ohio 43204

Please specify in the memo line: "Crabill/August"

Impression Info
Military Participants will portray the 105th Ohio in military uniform, based upon what they would likely have been
issued prior to mustering in. Our busy schedule of activities will prevent us from doing any sort of uniforms issue.

We are finishing the exact uniform standards now and those will be released shortly.

Looking forward to hearing from those interested in participating.
