| The current revision to SCC 30.91U.100 Utility reads:
Utility means any public or private entity whose principal purpose is to provide electricity, water, sewer, storm drainage, gas, radio, television, telephone and or other forms of communications utilizing the electromagnetic spectrum to the public except personal wireless telecommunications services Note that radio and tv are considered utilities. Because radio and TV are so similar to cell phone services (non utilities), they should be removed from this definition. That would make the Snohomish Code more in tune with how Washington State defines a utility. Write John Koster a letter requesting the SCC 30.91U.100 remove radio and TV from the definition as a utility. John Koster Council Chair Snohomish County Council 3000 Rockefeller M/S 609 Everett, WA 98201 Phone: 425-388-3494 or email Mr. Koster: [email protected] |
