As the manager of business development, I am responsible for launching
all aspects of the land mobile radio business in the U.S. for a European subsidiary
of Nortel Networks. While working within this entrepreneurial environment,
I was a key member of a very small team that grew revenues from nothing to
over $6 million per annum.
My activity has crossed a broad range of responsibilities
that included collecting competitive intelligence, detailing product requirements,
assessing business partners, developing marketing plans, and managing all
aspects of the sales process. While building the business I identified
key customers, established the necessary relationships, bid qualified opportunities,
and maintained complete customer satisfaction.
I bring to the organization over ten years
of experience with a solid mix of technical, business, and marketing skills
that allow me to build cross functional teams necessary to realize results.
With critical communication skills, I am able to translate technical information
into a value proposition for the end-user organization. I am a self
starter with strong planning and leadership skills, an ability to interact
with people of all levels, and a team oriented approach to business.
