Furnished comfortably
with vintage furniture and modern ammenities,
the oldest part of The Country Squire's Guest House was originally
built as a corn crib.
|
|
This
early structure, the exterior walls gently slopping outward,
demonstrates the unique architectural design that allowed the freshly
picked corn to be stored without the danger of fire or explosion. |
|
As the Inn's occupancy
grew to accommodate the actors and
actresses who graced the "Off Broadway" stages of The Shubert,
The Goodspeed, and The Ivoryton Playhouse, the original corn crib
grew too.
|
|
Today, The
Country Squire's
Brides and Preferred Patrons frequently
occupy Guest House.
We hope, in time, that some stars like you will
too!
