7th TRUMPET GATHERING

WHAT ABOUT THOSE WHO ARE ALIVE AT
CHRIST'S COMING?

The 7th TRUMPET GATHERING means that at the sound of the 7th TRUMPET the elect will be GATHERED together from all across the planet and presented to Christ, right here on Earth. It means that our bodies will be changed into new Christ-like bodies in the twinkling of an eye. Glory Hallelujah!!!! It does not mean a 7th Trumpet rapture and it does not mean a post Tribulation rapture. It does not mean being taken on a trip to Heaven. It is a GATHERING, not a rapture. Can't you imagine how thrilling and exciting that it will all be?

The 7th TRUMPET GATHERING takes place at the end of the Tribulation because of what Christ says in Matthew 24:29-31. "Immediately after the Tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from Heaven, and the powers of the Heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in Heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the Earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of Heaven with power and great glory. And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a Trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of Heaven to the other."

We shall see Him come with power and glory. Where will He come from? Heaven. Come where? Come to Earth. Where on Earth? To His Throne in Jerusalem, Israel. Then He shall send His angels to GATHER the elect. Where will they be taken? To Jerusalem? How will they be taken? Angels are often seen to appear as men. Will the elect, once in their glorified bodies, instantly appear in Jerusalem, like Philip did in Azotus in Acts 8:39,40 or will they be taken in aircraft? Things to ponder.

THE FOLLOWING VERSES TAKE ON NEW MEANING WHEN PUT IN THE PROPER CONTEXT.

Colossians 3:4 "When Christ, Who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with Him in glory."

~~cdl~~ Appear means to come into sight. It means to come into sight where one can be seen, where people are. When Christ appears, He is coming to where His elect are. Where will they be? Right here on Earth. In this verse there is no mention of leaving the Earth to be with Him. Then, they shall appear with Him in instantly glorified bodies. ~~cdl~~

Philippians 3:20,21 "For our conversation is in Heaven; from where also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself."

~~cdl~~ We look to Heaven because that is where Christ will come from. These verses do not say we'll go there to see Him. There is no mention of leaving the Earth to be with Him. When He comes, Christ will change our vile bodies to be like His glorious body, right here on Earth. ~~cdl~~

1 John 3:2 "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is."

~~cdl~~ Again, it says here, when He shall appear. Then shall we be like Him. It doesn't mention being taken off the Earth, we would assume that He shall appear right here on Earth, where His Kingdom will be. (Zechariah 14:9,16 Revelation 11:15 Revelation 22:1 You may read these verses at the bottom of the Page.) ~~cdl~~

1 Corinthians 15:51,52 "Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last Trump: for the Trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

~~cdl~~ These verses say that we shall be changed at the last Trump (7th Trumpet). There is no mention of any "taking out or up". Changed, in a twinkling of an eye, right here on Earth, ready to take part in Christ's Kingdom, which will be right here on Earth. (Zechariah 14:9,16 Revelation 11:15 Revelation 22:1 You may read these verses at the bottom of the Page.) ~~cdl~~

WHAT ABOUT THOSE WHO ARE DEAD?

1 Corinthians 15:52 says "the dead shall be raised incorruptible".

~~cdl~~ The dead raised would mean those in Christ's Presence now, (absent from the body, present with the Lord - 2 Corinthians 5:8 ) coming with Him.

The dead refers to the elect who are now with Christ and they shall accompany Him on His trip to Earth. ~~ cdl~~

1 Thessalonians 3:13 "To the end He may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints."

Zechariah 14:5 "And you shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yes, you shall flee, like as you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with Him."

FOR WE SHALL SEE HIM AS HE IS!

HERE ARE SOME VERSES ON AIR,
HEAVEN AND CLOUDS

So many Christians base their theology concerning Christ's return on one verse, 1 Thessalonians 4:17, while ignoring most other verses, such as the ones above and the ones following.

~~cdl~~ 1 Thessalonians 4:17 "Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." This verse says the dead in Christ and those alive shall all be caught up together in clouds to 'meet Him in the air', to be with Him forever. It is our understanding that the word for 'air', in the Greek, can also mean, 'breath of life'. (Also 'breathe' or 'spirit'.) Who gives life? 'Clouds' can mean clouds of witnesses, such as in Hebrews l2:l. Couldn't this verse mean GATHERED together with all the elect and presented to Jesus Christ, the One Who gives or breathes life? (Hebrews 12:1 "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.) ~~cdl~~

Revelation 19:11 "And I saw Heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He does judge and make war."

~~cdl~~ In this verse, when Heaven is opened, Christ appears, but the war
is on Earth. (Verses 11-19) ~~cdl~~

Revelation 14:14 "And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud One sat like unto the Son of Man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle."

~~cdl~~ In this verse we take the Son of Man sitting on a cloud to be Christ. Verses 14 through 20 describe a harvest that takes place very specifically on Earth. Note the use of the word "sickle", sickles are used on Earth, not in the sky. This passage of Scripture is considered by many to be a description of Armageddon. Compare Revelation 14:19 with 19:15. ~~cdl~~

Matthew 24:30 "And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in Heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of Heaven with power and great glory."<

~~cdl~~ Christ is described here as coming in clouds of Heaven with power and great glory. Could this mean clouds of Heavenly host? When He appears in Revelation 19:11, verse19:14 says that the Armies that were in Heaven followed Him. ~~cdl~~

Matthew 17:5 "While He yet spoke, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased; hear Him."

~~cdl~~ This verse shows that the word clouds is described as
being on Earth. ~~cdl~~

Luke 21:27 "And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." Matthew 26:64 "Jesus said unto him, you have said: nevertheless I say unto you, hereafter shall you see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of Heaven."

~~cdl~~ Check Matthew 24:30 above. ~~cdl~~

Mark 13:26-27 "And then shall they see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall He send His angels, and shall GATHER together His elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the Earth to the uttermost part of Heaven."

~~cdl~~ Here, you see Christ coming in clouds, (literal, saints or armies?) then, His angels GATHER the elect. How much clearer does it need to be stated, to be understood that Christ comes, then He GATHERS the elect? He GATHERS them together unto Himself. They will come all over the planet and from all over Heaven. There is no mention of a quick return to Heaven here, and there is no mention of being taken up and out. Why would they be brought from Heaven, only to be turned around and instantly sent back? ~~cdl~~

Revelation 1:7 "Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the Earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen."

~~cdl~~ Here again, we see the word "clouds" mentioned in connection with Christ's coming. Please note that it says everyone will see Him when He comes. It says that the peoples of the Earth will cry out because of Him. Why would it mention Earth, if Christ were not to come to the Earth? ~~ cdl~~

HERE ARE A FEW KINGDOM VERSES

Worship the KING

Zechariah 14:9 "And the Lord shall be King over all the Earth: in that day shall there be One Lord, and His Name One."

Zechariah 14:16 "And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles."

Revelation 11:15 "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in Heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the Kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever."

Revelation 22:1 "And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the Throne of God and of the Lamb."
