JESUS OF GALILEE
WILL WALK THE EARTH AGAIN
Many Believers in the Christian Church are watching for Jesus Christ to Return to Earth and they are hoping that it will be soon. This Return is called the Second Coming of Christ, (James 5:8-9 Revelation 22:20) and it is considered to be at the End of the Age. (Matthew 24:3 28:20) Jesus said, "I will come again", therefore, He shall. (John 14:3) There are many prophecies centered on His Coming Again, and they are often called End Time events. Whether they take place in Israel, or elsewhere, the whole wide world will be affected. Some will be horrific, while others will be glorious, astounding and beautiful. These prophetic events are presented in God's Word, so the reality and certainty of their fulfillment are sure. (Matthew 24:33,35 I Peter 1:25) They will take place in two time periods, 7 years, (the 70th Week of Daniel) followed by 75 days, both of which are prophesied by Daniel the Prophet. (Daniel 9:24-27 12:6-12)

The authors of this Booklet have summarized the prophetic events, Biblically and briefly, and have suggested a chronological order, all the while realizing that there is a great diversity of opinion concerning interpretation and order. These prophecies may be fulfilled in order of Seals, Trumpets and Bowls or the Seals, Trumpets and Bowls may be fulfilled simultaneously or intermingled, so a chronological order is hard to establish.

The 7 years may begin with a treaty of some kind and shall end with the physical Return of Jesus Christ to Earth. (Job19:25 Revelation 1:7) He will again be seen walking throughout the countrysides and cities of Israel. (Isaiah 63:1 Habakkuk 3:3,12) His Deity will no longer be questioned. (Zechariah 14:16) At the end of the 75 days, He will initiate the reign of His long awaited Kingdom in Jerusalem, where He will live among His chosen people. He will Rule as King and Judge, over all the nations of the Earth. (Zechariah 14:9 Revelation 11:15 21:3) Revelation 2:27 12:5 and 19:15 say that He shall rule with a rod of iron.

ETERNITY

INVASION OF ISRAEL There will be an invasion of Israel. The armies of many Nations will occupy the surrounding mountain areas. God will intervene and destroy them. This invasion, described in Ezekiel 38 and 39, may be just before the start of the 7 years, in the middle of it, (see "THE LAST HALF OF THE 70TH WEEK", page 4), or even at the end. (Armageddon? Revelation 16:13-16) There may be one, two or three invasions. It will take 7 months to bury all the dead bodies. Burning the weapons will take 7 years.

A TREATY There may be a treaty or treaty renewal among many (Nations) that involves Israel, at the beginning of the 7 years. (Daniel 9:26-27) Then, or sometime later, a Leader will become involved. He is identified as the Anti-Christ, little horn, prince, man of sin, wicked one and son of perdition (false messiah). He will deceive with talk of peace, but destroy. (Is he Satan?) (Daniel 7:8,21 8:23-25 11:21 II Thessalonians 2:3,8 I John 2:18)

THE FIRST HALF (3 l/2 YEARS) OF THE 70TH WEEK
THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS - 4 OF THE 7 SEALS OF REVELATION The "beginning of sorrows" mentioned by Jesus in Matthew 24:5-8 and at least 4 of the 7 Seals of Revelation 6:2-8, describe the world's tumultuous condition, not only during the first 3 1/2 years of the 70th week, but the period preceding it. Many will come in Christ's name, saying they are Christ and deceive many. There will be wars, rumors of wars, social upheaval, inflation, famines, earthquakes, disease, pestilence, death, killing, political unrest, civil wars, and revolutions. People will be truce-breakers, sensual, fierce, greedy, willful, deceivers, proud and liars. Many people will give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. It sounds like the world today, doesn't it? But Jesus said in Matthew 24:6, "be not troubled; for all these things must come to pass". He said in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you; not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (I Timothy 4:1-2 II Timothy 3:1-13 4:3-4 II Peter 3:3-4 Jude 18)

Revelation 6:l-8, describes 4 of the 7 Seals.

Seal l: White Horse - The rider holds a bow and is given a crown. He makes great conquest.

Seal 2: Red Horse - The rider is given a great sword. He is given power to take peace from the earth and there is much killing.

Seal 3: Black Horse - The rider is given a pair of scales. The voice heard indicates inflation, scarcity of food and famine.

Seal 4: Pale Horse - The name of the rider is Death. Hades follows him. 1/4 of the Earth is killed with war, hunger, and the beasts of the Earth.

THE BATTLE OF SATAN AND MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL Following a war in Heaven with Michael the Archangel and his angels, Satan and his angels will lose their place in Heaven, and be cast out onto Earth. ". There is question as to when this battle actually takes place, but when it does, Satan will be so filled with wrath that he will persecute the remnant of Saints who have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (Daniel 7:21,25 Revelation 12:7-17) Revelation 12:12 says, "woe to the inhabitants of the earth � the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time Scripture refers to Satan as Lucifer, serpent, dragon, devil and prince of the demons. Isaiah 14:12-17 Ezekiel 28:12-17 Matthew 12:24 Luke 10:18 Ephesians 2:2 and I Peter 5:8, all refer to him.

THE LAST HALF (3 1/2 YEARS) OF THE 70TH WEEK
THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION The "abomination of desolation", the Leader/wicked one, standing in the holy place and declaring himself to be God, will initiate the last half of the 7 years. (Daniel 8:11-14 9:26-27 11:16,31,36 12:11Matthew 24:15 Mark 13:14 II Thessalonians 2:4-11) (Luke 21:20 indicates that Jerusalem is to be surrounded by armies when its desolation is near.) Words such as set up, sanctuary, and sit in the temple of God, are used to identify this evil abomination. Daniel 9:27 indicates cessation of sacrifice and oblation. Therefore some, believing that the Jewish Temple is the holy place, expect it to be rebuilt and sacrifice restored before this takes place. Some believe that only the altar and altar sacrifices will be restored. (Ezra 3) Is the city of Jerusalem or the Wailing Wall the holy place? Some believe that the abomination means putting a stop to Christian Communion. Who is this Leader/man of sin? Could he be Satan, himself? Revelation 2:10 say, "the devil shall cast some of you into prison" and Revelation 12:12 say, "the devil has come down to you"?

THE GREAT TRIBULATION (SEAL 5) This blasphemy commences the period of time called the "Time of Jacob's Trouble", or "Great Tribulation". (Jeremiah 30:7 Daniel 12:1 Matthew 24:21 Revelation 7:14) Even though this evil abomination will take place in Israel, the horror and destruction it perpetrates, will reverberate around the world. Many in Israel will flee into the wilderness to escape. (Revelation 12:6,14) Saints of God will be persecuted. (Daniel 7:21 Matthew 24:9 Revelation 13:7 17:6) In today's society, there is blatant ridicule and trampling of godly values, even ugly name calling, but all that is only the beginning of what is ahead. Seal 5, of Revelation 6:9-11, describes the souls of those slain for the Word of God and the testimony they held. The scene depicts martyrdom. So, this Seal may indicate the start of the Great Tribulation.

TWO WITNESSES PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL Two men, called "Witnesses", will appear in Jerusalem and prophesy for 3 1/2 years. (Most likely it would be in the last half of the 7 years.) "They are the 2 olive trees and the 2 lampstands standing before the God of the Earth." They will have power from God to perform mighty acts, such as to turn waters to blood, cause drought and touch the Earth with plagues. There is much speculation as to who these two will be. Some say that one of them will be Elijah, because of Malachi 4:5-6. Some think they will be Moses and Enoch. Their arrival will end all the speculation. (Zechariah 4:2-3,14 Revelation 11:3-13)

THE TWO BEASTS AND WHAT THEY SYMBOLIZE Two Beasts shall arise. They symbolize the tyrannical leadership and the religious, political, educational and monetary systems that will enslave the world. References concerning the two Beasts are found in Daniel 2:44 7:5-8, 7-25 8:23-27 9:26-27 11:36-45 and Revelation 13 and 17.

The First symbolic Beast is like a leopard, it has 7 Heads and l0 Horns, with a Crown on each Horn. It has names of blasphemy on its Heads. One Head is wounded to death, but healed. (The scarlet Beast in Revelation 17, and the Red Dragon in Revelation 12:3, are described in much the same way.) It will blasphemy God and overcome His Saints. It will be worshipped by those whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb. This Beast has been given many suggested interpretations by Bible scholars.

The 7 Heads are described as Kings and/or Empires, in Revelation 17:10. The ancient Empires of Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece are considered to be the 5 "fallen" Heads. The old Roman Empire is usually thought to be the 6th Head, the Head "that is". The New World Order or Global Government may be the 7th, the Head "that is yet to come".

Some think the wounded Head indicates the Anti-Christ and that he will be a person who has died and then come back to life. That is not too likely. (Revelation 13:3,12 17:8,11)

Revelation 17:8 describes the Beast as "was, is not, and yet is". He shall ascend out of the bottomless pit. The Beast looks like a leopard and has feet like a bear. The Medo-Persia Empire was like a bear, it devoured much flesh. The Empire of Greece was like a leopard, it had dominion over the world. The Beast will be in the likeness of those two Empires, so it too, will devour mankind and dominate the world. That suggests Global Government. Consider this. The evil of those two Empires did exist, "was". The spiritual force of darkness that was behind them, is now in the pit, "is not" (on Earth). It will come up from the pit, "yet is", (to come) to empower the Beast. (Daniel 2:39 7:5-6)

The 10 Horns are 10 Kings, who will receive power one hour with the Beast. (Daniel 2:44 Revelation 17:12-13) Revelation 17:16,18 say that they hate the harlot, Babylon the Great, make her desolate and burn her with fire

Daniel 7:7-8 mentions 10 Horns. A "little horn" comes up among, and after them and will be diverse from them. 3 Horns are plucked up by the roots. Many consider the Horns to be the Kingdoms of UE, of which 3 are subdued by one, and that the "little horn" is the Anti-Christ, who they think will come from that Kingdom. Many suggest that the Anti-Christ will be of Jewish descent, coming from the tribe of Dan. There is an idol shepherd that leaves the flock. (Zechariah 11:17) It has been suggested that the Anti-Christ may rise to power in Israel, then move on to govern UE. A New World Order group is said to be not only planning to divide the world into 10 regions when it has global control, but the latest word is that they are paring it down to 3 regions. Then only 1? Would Satan as Anti-Christ fit in here?

The Second symbolic Beast is described in Revelation13:11-18. He has 2 Horns, like a lamb, and yet he speaks like a dragon. He will do great things, and cause fire to come down from heaven. He will deceive the world with such wonders. He will make people worship the image of the First Beast and kill those who don't. This 2 Horned Beast is considered by many to be the False Prophet of Revelation 16:13 19:20 and 20:10, a religious leader. The Horns, described as lamb Horns, could indicate that some system of ecumenical religion is involved. Under a guise of benevolence, it/he/they will be a mouthpiece for coercing mankind to worship and obey the First Beast. Many consider the Second Beast to be an Anti-Christ, possibly Satan, himself. After accomplishing the first task, he would then move on to demanding worship of himself. The second Beast has many suggested interpretations.

It is interesting to note that there is reference to Horns concerning the Medo-Persia and Greece Empires, in Daniel 8:20-21.

The image of Revelation 13:14-15 is considered by many to be an idol or statue type of thing, but to others, TV's and/or computers seem to fit the description better. The world subjugated to Global Government and/or the Anti-Christ, through such a combination of technology, is a reasonable speculation. TV is a powerful tool for thought and behavior control. Computers are used to compile personal information on citizens around the world, including their political affiliation, religious beliefs and their whereabouts. Who will tap this reservoir of information? Anyone who does not believe that there are think tanks of people behind the scenes trying to gain control of everyone's mind, has forgotten that unrighteousness never sleeps. Satan uses anyone and anything he can, to present his agenda of sin and evil to the world. Control of minds, means control of the world. During the years of the Tribulation, a person's life will be on the line. Obedience and conformity to the rule of the Beast, whatever it is, may determine if one lives or dies. Christ said that His Saints should not be afraid to lose their lives, for His sake. (Mark 8:34-38 Luke 12:4-5)

THE MARK OF THE BEAST
During the Tribulation there will be a worldwide monetary system. People the world over will be required to have the mark, name, or number of the Beast, in their right hand or forehead, in order to buy or sell. (Revelation 13:16-17) Some suggest that this could be done through a worldwide computer system that would eliminate the need for cash and implement an electronic code system for all monetary transactions. It is a possibility that a chip (mark?) would be implanted in the right hand or forehead for scanning. Another opinion is that the mark is the New Age mind set. In the Greek, the word for forehead could read, "in the mind" (brain), thus only those religiously and politically correct in their thinking could buy, sell or get a job. Without a job you cannot earn money to buy. Since '92, the USA has taken political correctness to extremes. Freedoms and Constitutional rights are being eroded. Citizens are being inundated with restricting law upon law. Are thought police next? Talk police are already on the job, the media acting as their operative. Look at some of the people in recent years who have been required to take 'sensitivity' training in order to keep their jobs. In communistic Russia, it was called 'brainwashing'. Are schools being used to indoctrinate children into "correct" thinking patterns?

666
Revelation 13:18 says, "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the Beast; for it is the number of a man; his number is six hundred threescore and six". This verse is one of the most intriguing concerning End Times.

Because the Beast is considered by many to be the Anti-Christ, the most popular interpretation of 666 is that the gematria (numerical value of the letters in a name) of whoever the Anti-Christ is, will be 666. Nero, in the time of John the Apostle, had a gematria of 666. If the Beast is Global Government, another interpretation is that the three 6's in the bar codes of commerce will be used in chips or id/smart cards (mark?) to monitor people and compile information about them. Whatever it means, it is not good news.

PROCLAMATIONS MADE BY THREE ANGELS
An angel will make a mid-air proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every nation, tribe, language and people. He will warn people to fear God and glorify Him, because the hour of judgment has come. A second angel will announce the imminent fall of Babylon. A third angel will warn people not to worship the Beast, or receive its mark in their forehead or hand, because if they do, they will be tormented with burning sulfur forever. (Revelation 14:6-12)

COSMIC DISTURBANCES AND EARTH UPHEAVAL
(SEAL 6)
~ EARTHQUAKE ~
There will be terrible cosmic disturbances and Earth upheaval. Seal 6, of Revelation 6:12-14, and Matthew 24:29, describe such events. The heavens and Earth will shake and tremble, the Earth will move out of its place, it will reel to and fro. Mountains will be moved, islands will disappear, stars will fall, and the sun and moon will not shine. The world will be in gloominess and thick darkness. The sea and waves will roar, and nations will be in great turmoil. People will be so afraid and filled with dread, that their hearts will fail them and they will hide in caves and holes in the ground. Men will walk around like they are blind. (Isaiah 2:19,21 13:10-13 24:19-20,23 Joel 2:2,10,30-31 Zephaniah 1:15,17 Luke 21:25-26)

NOTE: The 6th Seal, 7th Trumpet and 7th Bowl all describe Earthquakes of great magnitude. This may suggest that they take place in the same time period.

THE SOUNDING OF THE FIRST 6 TRUMPETS
(SEAL 7)
Before angels sound the Trumpets, Seal 7 is opened and there is a half hour silence in Heaven. (Revelation 8:1) Zephaniah 1:7 is another reference to silence in God's Presence, and judgment at hand. The 6th Seal and some of these Trumpets may coincide. The first 6 Trumpets, Revelation 8:2-9:1, are:

Trumpet l: The burning of 1/3 of the earth and 1/3 of the trees and the green grass.
Trumpet 2: Destruction will come to 1/3 of the sea and its creatures and ships.
Trumpet 3: l/3 of rivers and springs of water are contaminated and many people die from it.
Trumpet 4: 1/3 of the sun, moon and stars will turn dark, thus 1/3 of daylight will be lost.
Trumpet 5: Locusts shaped like horses, with hair, faces, teeth, wings, and tails like scorpions, will have power to hurt and torment people for 5 months. They only harm those who do not have the seal of God in their foreheads.
Trumpet 6: 2000,000,000 troops will cross the Euphrates River and kill 1/3 of mankind with fire, smoke and sulfur.

When the Trumpets sound, there will be devastation. Nuclear bombs, radiation, UFO's, demons, aircraft, tanks, and chemical warfare are among some of the speculative, but reasonable, interpretations of how these prophecies may be fulfilled. There is already great destruction, contamination and loss of vegetation in the world today. (Keep in mind, that there is also the opinion that the Seals, Trumpets and Bowls are all overlays of the same prophecies, there only being one series of fulfillment.)

Some of those who say that Trumpet 5 and Bowl 5 are the same, also teach that this is when the Anti-Christ (Satan) will come to Earth. (Revelation 13 - the Two Beasts) Revelation 9:1 says a star falls from heaven onto the Earth. That would line up with Revelation 12:7-12, when Michael casts Satan out of Heaven onto Earth. Revelation 9:3 says that locusts will come out of the bottomless pit and 9:11 says that their king is Apollyon (Satan). These verses indicate Satan's presence on Earth. The locusts and king of Trumpet 5 could very well line up with the kingdom of the Beast in Bowl 5.

THE 7 BOWLS OF GOD'S WRATH
BOWL 7
~ EARTHQUAKE - HAIL ~ Many believe that the 7 Bowls, the destruction of Babylon, and the battle of Armageddon will take place at the end of the 30 Days of Daniel 12:11-12, not at the end of the 7 years.

As has been stated above, many believe that the Seals, Trumpets and Bowls are overlays and that they may not be in chronological order, but possibly intermingled.

The chronological order of the Seals, Trumpets and Bowls is hard to establish. For example, between Bowls 6 and 7, (Revelation 16:13-16) the Church is still seen on Earth. (Verse 15 - "Behold, I come as a thief, blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." This would put the Trumpet 7 Gathering after Bowl 6, not before it. It would put the Gathering and Armageddon at about the same time. (Other 'coming as a thief' verses: Matthew 24:43 Luke 12:39 I Thessalonians 5:2 II Peter 3:10 Revelation 3:3 This admonition is given to the Church.)

Suddenly, and in quick succession, the 7 Bowls, filled with the wrath of Almighty God, will be poured out upon the Earth. (Revelation 16)

Bowl 1: Painful sores will fall on the people who have the mark of the Beast and those who worship its image.
Bowl 2,3,4: They will cause the sea and all waters to become like blood and the sun to scorch the Earth.
Bowl 5: It causes darkness to fall on the kingdom of the Beast. They will suffer from their sores and gnaw their tongues for pain.
Bowl 6: It dries up the Euphrates River so that the Kings of the East will be able to cross. Armies of the nations gather at Armageddon to make war against Israel.
Bowl 7: A great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the Earth, will split Jerusalem into three parts. It will Cause cities to fall, islands to disappear and mountains to collapse. Hail weighing l00 pounds will fall. God's wrath falls on Babylon.

There is much speculative interpretation of these Bowl judgments. There is one thing for certain, they shall be fulfilled, and then, only according to God's preordained plan.

In Isaiah 26:20-21 God gives His people a message, "Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation is past. For, behold, the Lord cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: The Earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain." These encouraging verses are most likely instructions for the Saints/Church/Christians/Elect/Remnant that will be on Earth during the pouring out of the Bowls, and the message is, stay inside, close your doors, the time of these horrors will be fulfilled quickly, then I, the Lord, shall come.

At this time as the world heads for Armageddon, you will notice that between Bowls 6 and 7, Christ gives the above mentioned message, Revelation 16:15, to the Christians. It is the same one that He gave to them when He was on Earth. The Christians, still on Earth, would begin to get discouraged at this point in time. They would be looking desperately for Christ to return and wondering how much longer it will be. So Christ leaves a message for them, 2,000 years ahead of time, He says to them, "watch", I am coming. (Revelation 16:15-16) (Matthew 24:42-44 Luke 12:35-40)

The description of the fall of Babylon mentioned in Revelation 18, takes place at Bowl 7. (Revelation 16:19) The command for God's people to "come out of her", Revelation 18:4, would then have to be sounded before the destruction of Babylon, Bowl 7, and before Christ's coming at Trumpet 7. This would mean that God's people would still be on Earth at that point in time.

NOTE: As you noticed, the 7th Bowl involves an Earthquake and Hail. Keep in mind that the 6th Seal involved a great Earthquake. You will also find that the 7th Trumpet involves an Earthquake and Hail.

NOTE: The following series of prophecies may all be fulfilled at about the same time because each one has reference to a great Earthquake or great Earthquake and Hail.

THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF THE TWO WITNESSES
~ EARTHQUAKE ~
The survivors of all this destruction, who do not have the Seal of God in their foreheads, (Revelation 9:4) will remain unrepentant of their wickedness. They will continue their involvement in thievery, sexual immorality, murder, sorcery and the worship of demons and idols. (Revelation 9:20-21)

The two Witnesses will be killed and their bodies will be left in the street. People from all around the world will be so glad about their deaths, that they will send gifts to one another. After 3 1/2 days the Witnesses will stand and ascend to Heaven. At the very same hour, there will be an earthquake so great, that it will destroy one tenth of the city of Jerusalem and kill 7,000 men. (Revelation 11:7-10)

THE FALL OF BABYLON THE GREAT - BOWL 7
~ EARTHQUAKE - HAIL ~ Revelation 17 describes the Harlot and the Scarlet Beast that she sits upon. She has a golden cup filled with abominations in her hand and sits upon many waters. The Harlot has the name, "Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth", written on her forehead. She is drunk with the blood of the Saints and Martyrs of Jesus Christ. A confederacy of 10 Horns, or Kings, will hate, desolate and burn her with fire. As mentioned before, the Scarlet Beast fits the description of the first Beast in Revelation 13. The Harlot is called a city in revelation 17:18. Is she a literal city? She is considered by many to be an anti-true God, false religious system that has existed throughout history. Wouldn't Ecumenical Religions fit that description? There is much dialogue in religious circles about uniting all religions under one common banner. Jesus is the Light of the world and He wants His Believers to walk separately from those who are in darkness. (II Corinthians 6:14-17 Ephesians 5:8)

Revelation 16:17-21 and Revelation 18 give vivid details of the destruction of Babylon the Great. Many consider this destruction to be of a nation or of a world wide monetary system, more than of just a city or a religion. There may be two or three destructions here. Some suggest that chapter 17 describes the destruction of a religious Babylon and that chapter 18 describes the destruction of a political or monetary Babylon. (Isaiah 47, Jeremiah 50 and 51, also describe the destruction of Babylon. Some interpretations for Babylon the Great are:

Historical False Religion, Humanism and Materialism.

One World Ecumenical Religion.

World Monetary System.

THE GATHERING OF THE ELECT
Trumpet 7 is described in Revelation 11:15-19. It announces the day of Christ's wrath and His taking up the reign of His Kingdom.

NOTE: At the 7th Trumpet, there is Earthquake and great Hail. (Revelation 11:19)

NOTE: The 6th Seal and the 7th Trumpet say that the Wrath of God has come. The 7th Bowl mentions the fierceness of God's Wrath.

Jesus Christ, the Messiah, will roar out of Zion, (Heaven) with a shout. (Joel 3:16 Amos 1:2) These Scriptures must be compared with Matthew 24:31, I Thessalonians 4:16, II Thessalonians 2:1, Revelation 11:15-19, Revelation 19:11-21 and Zechariah 14:4-5. These scriptures must all describe the same prophecy.

Revelation 19:11-21 gives detail of a breathtaking scene. Heaven will open and Christ shall appear, seated on a white horse. He is called Word of God, Faithful and True. His eyes will be like flames of fire, He will have many crowns on His head. His white robe will be dipped in blood. (Isaiah 63:2-3) He will come with His name King of Kings and Lord of Lords written on His robe and thigh. Armies (Angels or Saints or both?) from Heaven, clothed in fine, white, clean linen and on white horses, will be following Him.

At some moment during His Return, Jesus will stand upon the Mount of Olives. It will split (earthquake) from East to West, moving the Mount, South and North. When a valley, Azel, is created, many will flee there, to escape the threatening armies. (Zechariah 14:4-5)

NOTE: A split of the Earth. Earthquake.

(It is interesting to note the mention of Christ's return to the Mount of Olives in light of the many Scriptural references to Christ and His Disciples spending time there when He was here two thousand years ago. Some even think that the Mount was the actual place of Christ's crucifixion.)

Christ will come to face the armies that are lined up to battle at Armageddon. (Revelation l6:13-16) Christ's Second Coming will be so different than the first time He was on Earth. He allowed a band of officers from the scribes, chief priests and Pharisees to take Him away. They came for Him with clubs, swords, lanterns and torches. (Isaiah 53 Matthew 26:47,50,53 John 18:3) He allowed Himself to be scourged, mocked, spat upon, crowned with thorns and put to death on a cross, (Matthew 27:27-31 John 10:17) but He arose on the third day. (Matthew 28:6) He ascended to Heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, His Father. (Mark 16:19) When He Returns to judge and to rule with a rod of iron, there will not be just a big mob trying to put an end to Him, there will be the Beast (Global System) and the kings of the Earth and their mighty armies, that will try. The nations will respond with rage when they realize that the Jesus of the New Testament, Whom they hate and reject, has physically returned to Earth. They will conspire to make war, not realizing that their own destruction is imminent. (Psalm 2 Revelation 11:15-18 16:14,16) He will not be taken, He will stand in Heavenly power and make war. He will not die, He will slay them with the Sword/Word of His mouth. (Isaiah 66:15 Hebrews 3:12 James 5:9 Revelation 19:11-21).

Armageddon, Tel-Megiddo, is a valley between the coastal city of Haifa and the Sea of Galilee, but South of them. It is Southwest of Nazareth, and just outside the Northwest edge of the West Bank.

Though it would not always be so, Jesus Christ is often described as being, or coming in clouds. (Daniel 7:13 Matthew 24:30 26:64 Acts 1:9-11 Revelation 1:7 14:14)

Verses 27 and 29-30 of Matthew 24 give even more detail of Christ's Appearing. When Christ descends from Heaven in power and radiant glory, as already mentioned, it is not only with a shout, but also with the sound of a Trumpet. The dark sky will break into brilliant shining from the Light of His Godly Presence, like lightning in a storm.

After Christ descends, He shall send His angels to Gather together His Elect, who will be in glorified bodies, (I Corinthians 15:50) from the four winds and from one end of Heaven to the other. (Matthew 24:31 I Thessalonians 2:1)

I Thessalonians 4:17 says the dead in Christ and those alive shall all be caught up together in clouds to 'meet Him in the air', to be with Him forever. Air usually means atmosphere that surrounds and is confined to the Earth. Therefore, the meeting together of 1 Thessalonians 4:17 would most likely be within the atmosphere that surrounds the Earth, not into the celestial. Then, also, the word for 'air', in the Greek, can have different meanings, one being 'breathe'. (Consider 'breath of life', 'spiritual' or 'spirit'. Who gives life? Meet Christ, the Life Giver, in the 'spirit', in a glorified body?) 'Clouds' can mean clouds of witnesses such as in Hebrews 12:1. I Corinthians 15:50-53 reveals a mystery, people are to be 'changed' in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye at the last trump (7th Trumpet). This means physical bodies being changed to new incorruptible, heavenly bodies, like Christ's glorious body. (Philippians 3:21) Why? Because I Corinthians 15:50 says flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. It doesn't mention any lifting out at all, it would mean being changed instantly, right here on Earth, in Christ's Presence at His Coming. II Thessalonians 2:1 says that when Christ comes, there will be a Gathering together unto Him. That would be both, the Saints on earth, and those who Christ will bring with Him when He comes. (I Thessalonians 4:14 and Zechariah 14:5) (Matthew 24:30-31 II Corinthians 5:8 I Thessalonians 4:13-17 Revelation 14:14-16)

The word Gathering means collecting, bringing together. The Gathering mentioned in Matthew 24:31 and II Thessalonians 2:1 is most likely the same Gathering mentioned numerous times in the Old Testament. It is a beautiful promise of Eternal God to His Elect, who are now scattered all over the world, to Gather them to Jerusalem, where Christ's throne will be.(Isaiah 11:1-12 27:12-13 45:4 54:7 65:9,22 Jeremiah 23:3 Ezekiel 11:17 37:15-28 Micah 2:12 Zephaniah 3:20 Zechariah 8:1-8 Romans 9:27 11:5 Ephesians 1:4 I Thessalonians 1:4 I Peter 5:13)

Scripture clearly teaches that the Gathering comes after the Tribulation. Matthew 24:29 - "Immediately 'after the tribulation' of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:" Matthew 24:30 - "And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." Matthew 24:31 - "And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall 'gather' together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."

DESTRUCTION OF THE BEAST AND THE FALSE PROPHET Christ will have the Beast and the False Prophet cast into the Lake of Fire burning with brimstone.

75 DAYS BEYOND THE 7 YEARS (30 DAYS + 45 DAYS)
Immediately following, there will come 75 days of astounding events. The 75 days are in two segments, 30 days and 45 days. (Daniel 12:11-12)

Jesus Christ, of course, will move around and make appearances in many places. His Presence will be awesome, as He moves through the land in indignation and greatness of strength. He will be brilliant with Light. His hands will shine with mighty power, Christ will be robed in splendor, but His garment will be sprinkled with blood, symbolizing judgment. He will roar like a lion and people will tremble. He will stand and look around at the devastation. The land will be filled with pestilence. (Isaiah 63:1-6 Habakkuk 3 Revelation 19:13)

THE 30 DAYS
THE REPENTANCE OF ISRAEL
After Christ vanquishes His enemies at Armageddon, Israel and Judah will at long last, be ready to accept the New Testament Jesus as King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and their Messiah. (Isaiah 27:13 Zechariah 13:9) As He walks and stands among them in Godly splendor, imagine the tumultuous crowding, as they all want to see Him. He will head for Jerusalem, (Isaiah 59:20) arriving from the East (Ezekiel 43:2) and He will climb Mount Zion. (Revelation 14:1) He will speak with authority, and His words will be obeyed. (Hosea 11:10) It will be different from His First Coming, when He was mocked, ridiculed and hated. (Matthew 26:57-27:66) They will look upon Him with great awe and wonder, He Whom they pierced and crucified on a cross. (Zechariah 12:10 Revelation 1:7) They will cry out to Him and acknowledge their sin. They will repent of their unbelief in great bitterness and sorrow. They will turn to Him with fasting, weeping and mourning. They will worship Him, Whom they rejected. He will forgive, heal, revive and restore them. Their sorrow will turn to praise and joy. (Isaiah 35:10 66:8 Hosea 6:1-2 Zechariah 3:9 12:11-12)

Keep in mind that some believe the 7 Bowls, the Fall of Babylon and Armageddon will take place at the end of this 30 days.

THE 45 DAYS
Jesus of Galilee, His Deity no longer questioned, (Hosea 8:2) will be awesome throughout the following 45 days. He will make a new heaven and a new Earth or, as some say, He will renovate the old ones. (Isaiah 65:17 66:22 Revelation 21:1) He will build a Temple on top of Mount Zion. (Zechariah 6:12-13) The city of Jerusalem will be South of the summit, down the side of the mountain. (Ezekiel 40:2) The promised land will be divided among the tribes of Israel. (Ezekiel 47:21) Then, with the last 75 days of this Age concluded, and having His Kingdom established, Christ will begin to rule the world, justly and righteously, from the Holy Mountain. What a day that will be, man's corrupt reign will be over. He shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6-7 32:1 Zechariah 14:9 I Corinthians 15:24-28 Revelation 11:15)

SATAN IS BOUND FOR A THOUSAND YEARS Christ will have Satan bound with a great chain, cast into a bottomless pit, shut and sealed for 1000 years. (Revelation 20:1-3)

THE JUDGMENT OF BELIEVERS' WORKS
THE MARRIAGE AND MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB It could be that Jesus will judge the works of the Gathered Believers/Elect/Saints, at this time. The judgment of a Believer's works determines how well a Saint lived his life for Christ, here on Earth. Rewards are involved. (Romans 14:10 I Corinthians 3:11-15 II Corinthians 5:10 Revelation 11:18) It does not, in any way, determine salvation or entrance to Heaven, that was settled here on Earth. Make no mistake, God's word makes it clear that no one can "work" his way to Heaven. (II Timothy 1:9 Galatians 2:16 Ephesians 2:8-9 Titus 3:5)

There is to be the Marriage of the Lamb, Christ, to His Bride, the Saints, and a Marriage Supper. (Revelation 19:7-9)

THE MILLENNIAL REIGN OF JESUS CHRIST Christ's Millennial Reign (Revelation 20:6) will be glorious. Revelation 5:10 makes it clear that it will be on Earth and that His Redeemed shall reign with Him. Jesus, as King, will rejoice over His people with singing. (Zephaniah 3:17) His people will obey Him and serve Him. (Ezekiel 20:40 Daniel 7:27 Revelation 22:3) A pure river, with crystal clear water, will flow out of His Throne. Trees will grow along the river. They will yield fruit every month, and the leaves will be for medicine. (Ezekiel 47:1,12 Zechariah 14:8 Revelation 22:1-2) People from all over the world will go to Jerusalem, to worship Christ. Nations who refuse to worship Him will be punished with drought. He will teach all people His ways and laws. He will judge among all the nations. Weapons will be changed into garden and orchard tools. There will be no more teaching of war. Wolves, lambs and children will play in peace. Children will play in the streets. People will be joyful and full of praise, as they sing, cry out and shout to God. They will dwell in safety and have plenty of food and water. Gardens and vineyards will be rich and fruitful. (Isaiah 2:2-4 11:6-10 25:9 27:13 60 61 65:18-25 Joel 3:18 Amos 9:14 Zechariah 8:3-5 14:16-21 Revelation 22:1-5) In Israel, foreigners will feed the flocks and sons of aliens will do the plowing and vinedressing. (Isaiah 60:10 61:5)

NEW JERUSALEM New Jerusalem, a residing place prepared by Christ for His Bride, will descend from Heaven and quite likely come to rest or hover over the Holy Mountain. New Jerusalem will shine brilliantly, like jewels, and have 12 gates of pearl. It will be 1500 miles square and made of pure gold. The Lord God Almighty and the Lamb will be the Temple and the Light of it. (Isaiah 2:5 Revelation 21:2,9-27 22:5) God Almighty will live in the midst of His people. (Joel 3:17 Zephaniah 3:17a Zechariah 8:3) He will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more sorrow, crying, pain or death. (Revelation 21:3-4)

WILL CHRIST'S RETURN COINCIDE WITH
ANY OF THE JEWISH FALL FEAST CELEBRATIONS? Many Christians have given serious thought to the possibility that Christ's Return may coincide with some of the Fall Jewish Feast Celebrations. They have noticed that the events in Christ's First Coming coincided with some of the Spring Feasts. Such as:

PASSOVER: Christ was the Passover Lamb, put to death by crucifixion.
FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD: His body did not decay in the grave.
FEAST OF FIRSTFRUITS: He triumphantly arose from death.
PENTECOST: 50 days after Firstfruits. The Holy Spirit Baptized the Church.

It is suggested that His Second Coming may be centered on the four Fall Feasts.

ROSH HASHANAH: Feast of Trumpets.
YOM KIPPUR: Day of Atonement.
SUKKOT: Feast of Tabernacles. It must be observed on Mount Zion.
HANUKKAH: Feast of Lights. 75 days after Yom Kippur.

It is a very interesting subject and is certainly worth study. One must keep in mind, Mark 13:32, "But of that day and that hour knows no man, no not the angels who are in Heaven, neither the Son, but the Father." Yet, concerning the End of the Age and His Coming, Christ said, "Now learn a parable of the fig tree: When its branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, ye know that summer is near; So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors". (Matthew 24:3,32-33)

THE FINAL REVOLT AND DESTRUCTION OF SATAN Unbelievable as it may seem, after1000 years of Earthly Reign by Jesus Christ, a countless number of people will try to overthrow Him, under the leadership of Satan. He will gather nations to battle after he is loosed. They will all surround the Saints and the Holy City, but fire will come down from Heaven and devour them all. Satan will then be cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone to be tormented day and night forever and ever. (Revelation 20:7-10)

THE RESURRECTION OF UNBELIEVERS
ANDTHE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT The Great White Throne of God will appear, and all the remaining dead will be resurrected to stand before God for judgment. Anyone not written in the Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire. (Daniel 7:9-10 Revelation 20:5a,11-15)

Just imagine the stunning reality that this judgment will be, to the resurrected. They will stand before the Holy God of the Universe. Among the multitude will be those, who in their life time, sat back in smirking condescension, declaring Jesus of Galilee a myth, ridiculing prayer to Him as God, and expressing disbelief in His miracles. There will also be those who were honest and hard working, but they just didn't take the Bible seriously, while on Earth. (John 3:36) Philippians 2:10-11 says that at the name of Jesus very knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. That is a promise from God, so if a person doesn't do it here on Earth, he will do it after death, in the Presence of God.

It will be like a person, who in this lifetime, has committed a crime. She goes before a judge for sentencing. Because of various reasons, the person thinks she will be "let off". She isn't. Instead, the judge gives her "hard time" and she is taken away in a state of shock to serve her sentence.

In this life, the sentence is very real, but she can appeal. At the Great White Throne of God, a person will be sentenced and taken away in a state of shock. The judgment from God will be real and final, there can be no appeal.

The person sentenced by the earthly judge will sit in her cell and think, "Why did I do it, why did I do it"? The person sentenced by Almighty God will sit in Hell and think, "Why did I do it, why did it do it? Why did I reject Jesus Christ as God's Son and as my Savior and Lord"? After much shedding of tears in an earthly cell, she is eventually released to start a new life. After much anguished shedding of tears and gnashing of teeth in Hell, where the fire is not quenched, there will never be an opportunity to start a new life. (Matthew 8:12 Mark 9:43-47) It is amazing that so many pass through this life without ever knowing or loving the Creator of the Universe.

ETERNITY Believers in Jesus Christ will live a glorious life with Him in an Eternity that has no end. They will love, worship, serve and obey Him. Their hearts will be contrite and humble in the presence of such a Majestic God. He is the High and Lofty One, He inhabits Eternity and His name is Holy. (Isaiah 57:15 Hebrews 9:15 I Peter 5:10 Revelation 1:6)

WHAT ABOUT YOU AND JESUS OF GALILEE? Much of what we have written is frightening, but because you have read it, you have the option of doing something definite about it. You can enter into a believing, saving and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and be prepared for His coming.

Until He Comes, the world will be filled with chaos. You can be assured that there is one thing that won't change or pass away, and that is God's Word, both the written and the Living. (Matthew 24:35 Hebrews 13:8) The written Word, the Bible, tells us that the Living Word, Jesus Christ, is the only Way to an Eternity with God. (John 14:6 Acts 4:12) Christ provided the Way when He gave His Life nailed to a cross. (Colossians 2:14) The nails in His hands nailed sin to His cross and the blood that flowed from his body can wash it white as snow. (Isaiah 1:18 Revelation 1:5)

All have sinned, so that includes you. (Romans 3:23) If you want forgiveness, than you must confess and repent of your sin. (I John 1:9) Christ is the only One Who can forgive sin, so if you repent, you can be assured He will forgive you. If you open the door of your heart and life to Him, He will enter. (Galatians 2:20 Ephesians 3:17 Revelation 3:20) You can experience the reality of His Presence in your life and know Him. (II Timothy11:12) He wants you to communicate with Him in prayer. (John 4:23 James 4:8) He also would like for you to read His Word, enjoy it, study it and believe it. (Psalm 119:11 I John 5:13) When Jesus walked the busy and dusty roads of Galilee nearly 2,000 years ago, He knew all about you and knew that you would need Him. (John 14:1,18 15:18-21 17:9,20) He loves you so much that He has promised that regardless of what you have to go through, He will never leave you or forsake you. (Matthew 28:20 Hebrews 13:5) So how about you, do you love Him?

IF YOU ARE A BELIEVER If you are already in a believing and saving relationship with Jesus Christ, God's only Son, (Matthew 3:17 John 3:16) then may this Booklet be a blessing to you and help encourage your love and faithfulness to Him. May it help in your study and understanding of Christ's Second Coming and may it help you to be ready when He Comes. (Luke 12:40) In the meantime, may you earnestly love, urgently pray for, and joyfully share the Good News of the Gospel with those who are lost and do not believe. (Matthew 28:19-20 Luke 19:10 II Corinthians 4:3)
