| Things I discovered in my first semester |
| 2. Chemistry is really a whole lot of review. Put it this way, the most complicated thing we are doing right now is limiting reagents. The first lab was really confusing too, because you had to make it up yourself. Definately don't like labs as much as class. |
| 1. Going into Calculus 2 is not as bad as it could be. Sure, we randomly went into 3-D vectors, but that was fun! The sad thing is that I think it is my favorite class right now! |
| 3. I hate my Engineering 116 class! It is so confusing and they expect you to read their mind when it comes to getting prepared for class! Even if you read what they plan to cover that day on the schedule, if you have not got a clue it really does not work. The actual computer stuff in their is not going so bad. This class really should be separated into two different components: 1. A class about engineering and problem solving methods are such. 2. A class about computer programs. Instead they combine it into one class. And I hate it! |
| 4. Marching band is so much different here! It is like almost the opposite in many ways, from what foot you step off with to whether you want to be smooth in your movements or to be snappy and military. But it is so much fun. It really is hard to explain why, since it is a lot more intense and the technique is taking some getting used to. I guess it is the way we parade and do lots of random things while doing it that is my favorite part. And I really do need to memorize the other two school songs....... |
| 5. You have to print out a lot of stuff for your classes. Yeah, that would not be much of a problem, except that they are starting to impose a free printing limit next semester. I would not mind if they actually took into consideration how many credit hours you were taking for it! I've already used 10% of what they'll give me for free next semester in like 3 weeks! And everything I have printed has been for school too! I wish they would give those with over like 17 credit hours more paper next semester... actually I really hope to not have 19 credit hours again next semester.... I really need more time! |
