| Welcome to our humble website. Please understand that this website, like most websites out in cyberland is constantly under construction. Unlike some construction sites we will strive to keep the public areas clean and presentable. Please feel free to peruse the many aspects of our online and offline life while you are here. We present this to you, the public, as an extension of our friendship, proffered to you at no cost. We hope that you will find this site as we do, as our background here portrays, as a diamond in the rough. | You may be curious as to the name of our site and what it may mean. We also are curious as it began as a comical comment on small town living but has since became to be more meaningful. Le Roy Acres is similar to the old TV show Green Acres in several aspects. From colorful figures in our lives that interact with us on a regular basis to the multitude of four legged family members that have shared our love and our lives. But Le Roy Acres has become much more than just a play on a TV series. It has truly become a description of what our family has evolved into. Please take some time to get to know us. | Navigation to this site should be fairly straight forward. At the top of each page you will find a banner identifying that each page is a part of the Le Roy Acres site, under that will be presented a menu bar from which you can navigate to various other pages within our domain. You will also find additional links within the text of each document within our pages. These links should be recognizable by being in a different color and underlined. The other place you can find navigational links will be through a specific page titled Links and these will be sites other than those found on Le Roy Acres Website. | We are a family of
four. Jean and myself (Jack) are supposed to be the parental units. Nikki
and Michael are our biological children. We have had numerous foster
children as well. We also have an extensive expanded family as well. I am
speaking about our many different pets and animals that share our home
with us. You can find out more about them on the
animal's
link and the links it contains. We are also going to try to share with you
all our
hobbies
as well. These range from camping to online gaming. You can find out more
in the links to the bottom of the page. One of the other items of import you will find here is the discussion on our Faith. Jean, Michael, Nikki and myself are all born-again Christians. Garety claims to have no faith but I personally believe that all people have faith of one sort or another, be that in God, another deity, science, or another unspoken belief it is still faith. In today's troubled times, with terrorism abounding in all corners of the world, more and more people are expressing their concerns and searching for faith. Therefore, we have the privilege of sharing our faith with you. Please feel free to peruse the Faith page and the links it contains. In our Spotlight
section of this website we will be displaying a small portion of one of
our internal pages. This may change from time to time so be sure to check
back often.
At this time we would like to spotlight our love of the online game of Delta Force 2. Jean, Michael and myself are all great enthusiasts of this game and are very active within a group of people from the squad United Federation Of Players (UFP for short). Four of us (Jean, myself and two other friends) started UFP 2 years ago and it has grown to be a driving force in DF2 today with over 70 members and numerous servers online 24/7. It is truly a way to interact with others and to build real relationships with like-minded people. You can find out more by following our Online Gaming link. |
