Hi! My name is Vicki Barnes, Dikki Barnes wife or as some know him by, Dr Wiz. I was born to Harry and Mattie Roberts in Mexico Missouri. We live in Centralia, Mo. which has a population of roughly 4800. So just about every one know everyone and who does what and so on. My birthday is September 4, 1958. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. their names are Cynthia Anne, Kathy Lou, and Ronald Thomas. We use to call Ronnie RonTom. Kinda short you know.
I went to school in Centralia, Mo. The first one or elementary school is Chance Elementary, then there is Centralia Middle School, which is now called Chester Boren Middle School, and then there is Centralia High School. I graduated from there, May 19, 1976. I was a cheerleader and on the gymnastics team. I played in the band, under the direction of Bradley Moore. He was a very fine teacher and musician.
I had my share of aches and breaks..I broke my leg when I was in kindergarten and had a cast on for 3 months, then wore an ace bandage for another 2 months. OUCH!!! It was worth it tho, got all the attention....LOL...I also broke my arm, not sure how old I was and there was some others, too. Too many to name.
I got married the first time April 22, 1978, to Mike O'Connor. We have 4 children. Their names are Kristin Nichole, Zachery Wayne, Joseph Michael, and Julia Suzanne. We divorced June 18, 1996.
I had met my current husband 20 yrs, before, but things just didn't seem right for us then. He was in a very popular band and since I was married, didn't think I should persue him. We met thru his sister and my ex husband. When I moved back to Centralia, I met up with him on June 22, 1998. We moved in together on August 19, 1998. We decided to get married on February 14, 1999. Dikki has 3 children, Holly, Abby, and Richi. Our wedding date is August 6, 1999. It was an outdoor wedding and just real pretty. There is a link to our Wedding page.
