The David Cone Foundation--Established in 1996, this foundation is dedicated to assisting numerous charities and educational programs throughout the country, especially those that relate to children. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association-- A non-profit organization that works on finding the cure for ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).
Baseball Assistance Team (BAT)-- Founded in 1986 by some Major League players, this organization concentrates on helping members of the "baseball family" in need.
Central Park Conservancy-- An organization dedicated to taking care of Central Park.
Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center-- Providing special and advanced medical care for children.
Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center-- Dedicated to researching and treating cancer.
St. Jude Children's Research Center-- Works on researching and treating cancer in children.
The Arthritis Foundation-- Supports the research and treating of arthritis.
The Mickey Mantle Foundation-- Established to promote organ and tissue donations.
The Association for the Help of Retarded Children (AHRC)-- Dedicated to the caring of people with developmental disabilities.
Harlem RBI-- A sports and educational program for youth in East Harlem.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society-- Researches the causes and treatments of leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgekin's disease, and myeloma.
Each year David Cone hosts a Charity Softball Tournament to help raise funds for causes such as these.
