10393 Train/Fiord/Glacier/Cruise Tour 6 Days.

Lower South Island.

Travel by train with scenic views to Dunedin.

The morning is free to take optional city tours or peninsula wildlife tours (extra cost), before boarding another train and changing to a coach to make your way across to Queenstown where you will stay the night.

The next day you will travel and see some great sights before taking a one and a half hour cruise along the one and only magnificent Milford Sound, then returning to Queenstown "the adventure Mecca" for a good nights sleep. Day 4 will provide you with blood pumping action.

The tour supplies you with the skyline gondola ride and a special viewing of a Kiwi magic movie.

Once you have completed these, you are free to take on the many adventures that Queenstown has to offer.

Next day is filled with a trip up to the Franz Josef area passing gold rush country and picturesque lakes on the way to south Westland where you will stay the night. The next day you are up and on your way back by coach through native forestlands then changing to train to pass lakes and mountains before returning back to Christchurch at approximately 6:35 pm.
