Invitation, several of the Members of the Company of Crimson were asked
their opinions on the notable people of the time they have met since
their forming in the Spring of 1897. As others are uncovered they
will no doubt appear on these pages. Other comments appear from observers
of the time.

Fei-Lhung TseFei-Lhung Tse is a frightfully sinister Oriental chap who passes himself off as some sort of Doctor. In fact he's a most rascally and wicked fiend who runs an international criminal empire, chops off the fingers of people who displease him and probably has mysterious mystical powers and a Doctorate of Cruel and Unusual Torture from the University of Shanghai. As far as I know, he runs an international gang of ruthless drugs smugglers, assassins and racketeers, has his London lair in the House of a Thousand Blossoms in Limehouse, has a bodyguard of fanatical female-appearing ninjas (who are clearly inhuman demons who cannot be reasoned with and take no quarter) and likes tea (but probably not cake, dastardly bounder that he is). | "Chief"
Lacey (b. unknown)
A surprising victory yesterday from mysterious newcomer "Lacey" making a glorious finish despite stopping during the first day of this grueling endurance race to punch a fellow competitor for "cheating", investigations later upheld this complaint and competitor Richard D’stardly was disqualified. Racing in an unusual machine, from an independent engineer, Lacey even slept in the vehicle to preserve its engines secrets. We have not seen racing like this since the untimely demise of naval veteran and amateur John Cagney in a boat accident whilst stationed in Gibraltar. Mr. Lacey could not commit to any more of these seasons’ races, claiming it had "merely been an engine trial to see if a journey of this magnitude could be made without refueling". Count Vacroma & Countess EleniA fascinating case.
Brother and Sister, Prussian, a most severe allergy to sunlight and
iron deficiency of the blood. Notably enhanced night vision seems small
compensation for their tragic malady. The Count is a stern faced man who dotes upon his sister, I am to understand he is an acclaimed marksman and enjoys racing horses and hunting in his native country. I understand the Countess is something of a socialite though never entertains the affections of admirers, preferring by choice to hang on her brothers arm. Living since birth in darkness has clearly made the two extremely close. One get the impression, perhaps because they are twins, that communication between them is often silent... Taken
