Sunday 12th May, Tower Bridge, London

The Company of Crimson are filmed for Tokyo TV. A great night at the theatre in Druy Lane and dinner at Sarastro's found us meeting up with a Japanese film crew shooting a documentary on Victorian Fantasy in Art & Literature. An amusing end to the Countesses Birthday Celebrations.

  • Mrs. Athena Le Roux upon the demise of her long time friend - "Professor, you can't leave Hilda's body here, especially as she appears to be coming back to life...
  • Professor Wilson, to Professor Petrie upon seeing he was accompanied by his wife and Lord Brocket - "Aye, hmm, now then Petrie, I see ye' brought your fairy with ye'.
  • Lord Arthur 'friend to the poor' Brocket - "Things must have changed here at home while you were away in Africa all that time, Reverend?" -  dressed as sailor.

  • Reverend Jonathan Michaels - "Yes, indeed, I can't believe Oscar Wilde's gay, I never saw that one coming, all the ladies adored him..." -  dressed as a vicar

Professor Flinders Petrie - "I say Reverend, have you seen that splendid trick Mr. David De' Vant does with the beer mat and the wine glass?"  Prior to the "Accidental" Release of The Demon of Discord in St. Wilfred's Temple, Sussexshire.
