Our Civil War Couple?

On the 27th November, Viscount Buffington invited the company to Skipton Castle for a ghost watch. On their arrival Buffy showed everyone over the castle recounting tales of the civil war and ghosts galore, particularly James Ravenwood and his lost love parted by suicide after Cromwell’s army gained the castle.  All were fortified by soup and cake provided by Reverend Michaels from the local church.

The watch began and the scientists of the party set up an ingenious ghost detecting device in an upper room.
Meanwhile the ladies glimpsed a dark figure of a woman who dropped a glove, Mr. Pitt Rivers and Maisie saw a blue haired lady with glittery fingerprints, Artie was frightened by a door, strange voices and sounds were heard and the professor found a coin from the civil war.  Finally sleep beckoned and all collapsed, guarded by Algy...

Everything looked much less phantasmogorical in the daylight but the professor confessed he felt he had been followed over the past weeks, Athena claimed Gaston had been neglecting her and Elaine discovered the coin matched one given her by her aunt, a nun in Shrewsbury.
