Ed Troscianczuk stands atop the stump of a 100 year-old maple tree on Mississauga Rd yesterday.  The tree was one of 13 axed by a property owner who did not require permission under current bylaws.

Troscianczuk has tied 60 white ribbons around trees in Mississauga to raise awareness of the loophole.
