In an enchanting place, because of the Geography and Climate, some senior
citizens live happily, some others have physical dissabilities, and all have
gone through difficult economic conditions. But all of them love to work and
they are for effort and superation.
Everything here is Private Free Enterprise and everybody works for herself
or himself. Income is for the people that have their initiatives and not for
our organization that helps them.
Dulazar Corporation helps the elderly to organize for a living and to earn
money.

Sra Fabiola. She is the Eldest sister of Fanny, the seamstress we see here.
She takes care of the apartment in which they live together.
Fabiola is a great cook of pastry and delicatessen. Many parties are organized
by the two sisters. The same parties for which Fanny sews the bride dress or
the first communion dresses for girls. Also quincea�eras ( sweet fifteen
parties ).

caring for the plants. She and her sister would like to work for your party,
sewing and preparing the delicious food.
Work dignifies and gives sense to the existence of the senior citizens, and
is welcome for people with some minor health problems. Work is a way to relate
to others. And income is very much welcome for the elderly.
Dulazar provides housing for the Elderly as a loan ( no rent ) :
The homes of San Carlos were built as the renovation of an old building,
1500 square meters, 24 apartaments with green zones, big comunitary rooms
and a gimnasium.
Caring for parents, grandparents, granduncles
42 persons live now here, they have found company, solidarity and a roof.
Some of their relatives are young and this increases the sense of integration
to life and the possibilities of mutual help. The young people work inside and
outside, they get the prescriptions for the elderly, they help, go with their
old relatives to the physician, and most important, they generate income for
the family. We strogly believe in the Old and Young being together and not
separated.
We are a NGO ( nongobernamental organization ) for helping our neighbors
in harsh economic conditions. We are of Christian Inspiration but are
tolerant with all creeds and denominations.

Photos : The Elderly have their own little 'Grocery Store' : the products that the old folks consume
at home, the 'grocey store' also prepares and sells food everyday for the
sick or those who have no time....
We see Sra Jesusita, she is a great cook and makes cakes for brides, with
almonds, grapes, wines, etc... And other cakes and biscuitry luxuriouly
decorated. She also works for restaurants and parties.

Dreams can become real. Dreams are not only for the Young.
If you could communicate with us, we could work together for a better and more peaceful world. Perhaps, we can learn and help ourselves from those who went to uncountable difficulties and harshnes. But now, they triumph everyday with faith and joy.
If we are united, solidarity gives sense to our existence.
