Body Area Network is a process for organizing human beings -- both individually and collectively -- into sets of nodes that are linked together according to the medical, political, economic, and social philosophies of the people who have appointed themselves as regulatory overlords with respect to such networks. This is a vibrant, powerful, multi-dimensional human resource which is crucial to life and is the possession of the individual who gives expression to that biofield. Those who have corruptible, vested interests have made unilateral declarations which claim that biofields constitute a legitimate target for economic, political, medical, social, legal, and scientific exploitation irrespective of the wishes of the individual to whom the biofield belongs. Biological computing machines, such as micro and nano-implants that can collect important information inside the human body, are transforming medicine. Researchers have developed a protocol that enables a molecular network with multiple transmitters. The interface of computer science and biology —the Internet of Bio-Nano Things (IoBNT) — promises to revolutionize medicine and healthcare. The IoBNT refers to biosensors that collect and process data, nano-scale labs-on-a-chip that run medical tests inside the body, the use of bacteria to design biological nano-machines that can detect pathogens, and nano-robots that swim through the bloodstream to perform targeted drug delivery and treatment. Biomolecular communication is inspired by the body itself. In its simplest form it encodes “1” and “0” bits by releasing or not releasing molecular particles into the bloodstream — similar to ON-OFF-keying in wireless networks. According to the researchers, biomolecular communication has emerged as the most suitable paradigm for networking nano-implants. It sends data by encoding it into molecules that then go through the bloodstream and are guided where to go and when to release their treatments, just like hormones. Recently, the Internet of Things (IoTs) and biological nano scale technologies have merged to form a promising paradigm, known as the Internet of Bio Nano Things (IoBNT).

The IoBNT paradigm, which is based on synthetic biology and nanotechnology, enables the development of a biological embedded computing device, known as bio nano thing (BNT) Furthermore, these BNTs are intelligent machines that are capable of actuation, sensing, processing, and communication.

Molecular biology studies molecules. A molecule is a chemically bonded group of two or more atoms.Atoms are the basic building blocks of matter. Atoms combine to form molecules via chemical bonds.  These bonds are formed by the sharing or transfer of electrons between atoms. All living things are composed of connected atoms that form biological molecules.
 

Biological molecules are molecules that are necessary for the maintenance, growth, and operation of living systems.
Biological molecules can be divided into four main classes: proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, and nucleic acids.

 
Molecular biology focuses exclusively on the structure and function of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA), as well as how they contribute to protein synthesis. It also includes the regulation of gene expression as well as the replication, transcription, and translation processes.

In a consequence, various artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms can be used in conjunction with the IoBNT for processing and decision making. As a result, the IoBNT and AI have emerged as promising tools in the field of advanced targeted nanomedicine (ATN), wherein the human body is considered an infrastructure [2]. As a result, IoBNT and AI aid in the design of treatment plans by assisting with drug management or drug discovery.  

Additionally, the promising IoBNT paradigm, in conjunction with AI, can be used in ehealth monitoring, detection and diagnostics/treatment of diseases. The term "molecular communications" describes the procedure of encoding/decoding and exchanging data in the form of molecules over short distances [3,4].

The information can be encoded on the concentration, on the frequency and/or on the type of released molecules. Forster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) is a well-known type of molecular communication. FRET is a non-radiative energy transfer observed between fluorophore molecules in the 10nm communication range. It should be highlighted that, when compared with other molecular communication systems, FRET is clearly a reliable short-range communication system. The information is encoded in the energy (exciton) transferred between molecules, with no photons or chemical signals emitted.

As a result, FRET provides highly reliable communication with fascinating metrics, such as high transmission rates "around 1 Gbit/s, " short transmission delays "around 20 ps, " and low bit error rate "around 10-3" at the molecular level [3,4].
