the onalaska hilltoppers were accepted into the "fame" national showchoir competition in manhattan ...and of COURSE we had to go see the trombone section. you know, theirs in the one with that handsome tall blonde in it...
so we (emily came by, too) cheered loudly for 10 other showbands and their respective choirs (we missed the first 8 'coz we didn't feel the need to be there at 8am...) and stayed until past my bedtime to find out the grand results....2nd runner up! impressive!!!
but the band is all that counts anyway, and the band got BEST BAND. woah.
the website to which alex (in the upper left corner) takes you does not mention that OHS won best band and best female solo.... but they did. |
