| mix together: 2 cups powdered sugar 2 cups graham cracker crumbs 1/2 cup wheat germ mushy in with your hands: 3 cups chunky peanut butter mushy in with your hands carefully: 3/4 cup margerine (melted) or spectrum taste! taste again! mush it all into the bottom of a cookie sheet with the palms of your hands melt 13 oz carob chips smear the goo on top...it seems tight but it is possible. you can use more if you're a whimp and not up to the challenge. ;) chill in the freezer for 10 minutes take them out and cut into RECTANGLES put them back into the freezer to wait until they're hard be patient my mom is the brilliant source of this recipie. works just as well with chocolate chips. i learned that if you use spectrum (non-dairy margerine) that it does not stick together as well--has more of a tendancy to be crumbly. it's still delicious though. :) |
