we wanted to see cirque du soliel....and we had these amtak tickets...and i had several friends i wanted to see...and we were already in the mood for travel...
so we took a couple days off work, called amy mcB and emily, and WAH LAH!
we found ourself in the midst of lights, dirt, and crazy people....
new york city!
we did lots of walking with emily, ate excellent food, and i took the opportunity to show off my tap show to amy, gabe, and em. they were, of course, dutifully impressed.
no photos at cirque (the "Varekai" show)...they made me swear not to use the camera, but the show was amazing---i watched most of the acts with my mouth open. and the costumes!! WOAH! in my next lifetime, when i know all there is to know about cars, i might also have to be a costume designer/creator for cirque.
