| other lists you might find interesting: ryan's wishes...becca's wishes...alex's wishes...art's wishes... laura's wishes dad's wishes...mom's wishes...kara's wishes...brian/lauren/emma/elly's wishes... alternatives to materialism! southern poverty law center (which supports teaching tolerance) human rights campaign chapel of st john the divine (complete the chapel fund) traditional gift giving! books! amazon, alibris, and powells books are aware of my compulsions and keep interesting books (ok, and music) in stock on my wishlists there. however...i'm far behind on my reading and have plenty to keep me busy right now! this spring/summer i dug into (hah) gardening. i find that i could use some new gloves now that the season is over (closed at the wrists, padded at the palms, and durable in the fingers). i like to buy plants locally when i can, but it's also fun to purchase cool plants online from Park Seed - their spring catalogue is being printed as we speak. hopefully when spring comes i will see that only one and a half gardens remain to be designed and i can focus on wrapping the yard up and starting on new things. and other than that, we're doing a lot of home improvement type things as we get ready for the danner-shrimp to arrive in july. so we're kicking that up a notch by moving ryan's office, splitting my office between spaces, and otherwise making things more usable for the sleep deprived and those visiting the sleep deprived. on a personal note, i do need new gym shoes (earth maybe this round?) no, we have no real baby-wish type list begun yet... too much to balance before christmas! |
