finally emily and i were able to get together for the first time since the wedding. we were pining for eachother. really. so we all took the friday of labor day weekend off and played.
it had been so long since we last played that we weren't really good at remembering the camera. hmmm. but we have the memories... ! we went to leesburg outlets (clothes!), lowes (paint), pier one (to see her new furniture in person), burlington coat factory (to try on beautiful dresses and laugh really hard), shoppers warehouse (taco stuff), costco (snacks etc), and on a really long walk through the lord of the flies exhibit along the bike trail in our neighborhood. it was creepy but cool.
ok, so it wasn't an exhibit, but there were a lot of tree houses! and lotsa room for kid-expansion, you can tell it's past its prime days, but parts are still in use. more on that later when we have a camera.
at home we painted two bathrooms, set up an account on match.com (does that thing work anyway?) for emily, and made cinnimon rolls.
ryan was in charge of margarita making and auxillary picture taking when we remembered to give him the camera. phew. |
