the judge announed "i introduce to you richard and dick baldwin!" ... and we laughed...jeff really meant richard and george.... or did he? so we all attended aunt dean's 1pm wedding at the plaza club and scooted out around 3:45 to attend lillian & clif's 50th wedding anniversary reunion (thereby missing a horse and carriage retreat into the streets of chicago). folks, it was one busy day filled with more relatives of mine than i think i've ever seen at one time. and they (the events, not the relatives) had one thing in common (besides the relatives): ihop. or rather, we ate at ihop before we went to the events... and again the next day... ok, so they don't really have ihop in common, but they could if they had joined us for breakfast!
now dean and dick are off to maine... and people are still dabbing their eyes at lillian's beautiful anniverary toast to clif (the entire room rose in standing ovation at the end...if you hadn't been crying before, you certainly were moved to tears then!)
and all we have left are the photos...
