yes! the eventual visit to richmond! bec (and art) came to see us and scope out the richmond situation post-isabel.
we welcomed them with hoots, hollars, and said "but we have no running water...." they didn't mind. grunge is still "in" in parts of the US. we all DID manage to have a good time without drinking the local water and were able to shower sunday morning. YEA!
fun was had especially because they brought TWO (not one, but TWO!!!!!) apple pancakes with them from walker bros ....oh yum.... and we all learned that they are especially tasty (and filling) when served with peanut butter.
we accomplished movie watching, bowling, mancinos, roly poly, yen ching's, touring, the poe museum, ellwood thompsons, pinball, monkeyball, tiramisu making, and otherwise chilling out when possible.
