it was the first time in four years those uniforms had gotten wet, and every band uniform mom in charge cringed as the band knelt down as part of their routine. ... the rest of us applauded without a worry!

and the fans got soaking wet....but only for the sunfish days one, 'coz we went to the memorial day parade, too, and that was blue and sunny. !
alex felt a little nostalgic, but seems to be excited about the blue and orange hats he'll be putting on in the fall (YEA MARCHING ILLINI!)
