Day 1: Arrive Chicago.
Overnight Chicago. Introductory briefing and meet your fellow travellers. Reception Dinner.
Day 2: Chicago to Bloomington, Illinois.
Overnight in Bloomington.
Day 3: Bloomington to Litchfield, Illinois.
Lincoln's Springfield, Cozy Dog, brick-paved ghost roads in idyllic countryside.
Day 4: Litchfield to St.Louis.
Litchfield and the Ariston, Luna Caf�, Chain of Rocks Bridge, Mississippi.
Day 5: Free day in St. Louis.
Gateway Arch, riverboats, museums and downtown St. Louis.
Day 6: St Louis to Springfield, Missouri.
Meramec Caverns, Route 66 Motors, Memoryville, lush Missouri countryside. Devil's Elbow, Walnut Bowls and Kansas Corner
Day 7: Rolla to Claremore, Oklahoma.
Will Rogers Museum and fabulous cruising well away from the interstate.
Day 8: Claremore to Elk City, Oklahoma.
Tulsa, Sapulpa, the Round Barn, Rock Caf�, Oklahoma City, Cowboy Hall of Fame. Route 66 museum at Clinton.
Day 9: Elk City to Tucumcari, New Mexico.
Route 66 memory lane. Mclean "The Heart of Old 66". Adrian - the mid point of 66!
Day 10: Tucumcari to Sante Fe, New Mexico.
The "Land of Enchantment", Josephs, the Moonlight and Bozo's at Santa Rosa, the fabled city of Santa Fe.
Day 11: Santa Fe to Alburquerque, New Mexico.
A short days drive with time to explore the two wonderful gems of Santa Fe and Albuquerque.
Day 12: Albuquerque to Gallup, New Mexico.
Old town, Indian territory the unique El Rancho Hotel.
Day 13: Gallup to Flagstaff, Arizona.
The Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Parks, Jackrabbit Trading Post, "The Corner" in Winslow, Meteor Crater.
Day 14: At leisure in Flagstaff.
Many recommended day trips including glorious Sedona, or The Grand Canyon.
Day 15: Short move to Williams, Arizona.
The depot for the Grand Canyon Steam Railroad. Ride to the South Rim in real style! Williams is a Route 66 boom town with many Roadie attractions.
Day 16: Williams to Kingman, Arizona.
Meet Angel Delgadillo in Seligman, Road-kill caf�, the Dambar in Kingman.
Day 17: Kingman to Needles, California.
Sitgreaves Pass, fantastic desert scenery - Oatman is the Wild West!
Day 18: Needles to Victorville, California.
Crossing the Mojave Desert, Roys at Amboy, "Baghdad Caf�".
Day 19: Victorville to Santa Monica.
Hollywood, Beverley Hills, downtown LA. Santa Monica Beach - the end of the rainbow! Finale Dinner.
